(Y/n) pursed her lips as she stared at Ayato who looked at her with a satisfied expression. "You finished the drink, what a good girl." He praised her as he picked up the empty container and looked over it.

"Cut to the chase and give me my hint."

"So impatient are we?" He teased and tossed the container into the trash before turning his attention to the human.

"I am. It's not just Leaf I have to worry about... but also the investigation regarding the gate to the overworld. I can't be doing two things at once."

"Oh my, look at you being put to work~ It was as if yesterday you were trembling in your room."

"I was not. Some people tend to be nervous when they're in a place they're not familiar with." She grumbled.

"Yes, yes." The dismissive tone of his nearly made the woman's eyes roll out of her skull. "Now, what information has Itto shared with you about us?"

"You know that he shared information with me but don't know what?"

"Despite how he looks, there are some things he keeps to himself. I surmise that it brings the Avatar of Envy joy to keep secrets from others that catches one's interest."

"Well if that's the case, then I won't tell you everything but who he shared information on."

She watched as his purple orbs stared down at her for a bit before closing his eyes as if signaling that he'll stop questioning her for the time being. "Very well."

"He just talked about the 'problematic' demons as he put it."

"Such as?" He looked at her with a half lidded gaze.

"Mostly Childe. He also talked about you for a bit, but it might be biased since you two are close."

Ayato chuckled, "Interesting. Anyone else?"

(Y/n) thought for awhile, "He briefly mentioned Kaeya and Diluc when we were in the greenhouse. That's all I can remember."

"Then suppose he didn't speak of Mr. Zhongli?"

"Zhongli? I don't think I've heard of him." She thought about her past conversations for a smidgen of a clue if the name was ever brought up.

"He has the most seniority here, some even say he rules the underground." Popping his fan open, Ayato held it close to his lips and leaned towards (Y/n) as if he was going to tell her a well guarded secret.

The air around them turned tense and (Y/n) found herself leaning close to him in anticipation.

"He's a demon that has been around for centuries, long before I've even arrived. The old demon has been said to be well versed at many things, so perhaps the only way to beat the Master of Games is to bring the Jack of All Trades to the table."

"This would be easier if you stopped pushing me!" (Y/n) snapped when she felt Itto pressing down on her back.

"I'm increasing your strength! The more you deal with the easier it'll be to do push ups later on." The demon laughed.

"I need to develop the strength first!"

"Pah! Don't be weak!" Itto removed his hand and began to do one handed push ups.
