"Keep him distracted." The (h/c) haired woman ordered the men as she did her last item check before she'd set off on her journey.

"And how exactly are we going to be able to do that?" Kaeya raised a brow, while his legs swung, he was propped up on her desk.

"I don't think I've ever seen him consume food before... does he even eat?" Ayato furrowed his brows, deep in thought about the blonde familiar and his eating habits.

"Now that you think about it...," the navy haired demon trailed off as he tried to wrack his brain for a memory of Dainsleif ever consuming something—food or drink.

(Y/n) rolled her eyes at them and put her pack on, "There are other things you two should be worried about. Like keeping everyone—specifically Dainsleif—distracted. Alhaitham is out like a light right now, so focus on Diluc and Dain." She folded the piece of paper that had some extra information about the terrain and helpful tracking spells that the two gave her.

"Are you sure you'll be okay going out on your own...?" Kaeya looked at her with a reluctant gaze.

The witch held onto the shoulder straps of her pack, "I'll be fine. I have a better understanding on how to use the elements, and useful tracking spells."

Lust and Gluttony glanced at each other.

"Seriously?" (Y/n) huffed when they shared a look that made it obvious they didn't believe in her ability to fend for herself without them in the outside world.

"Hey now... we have every right to be worried." Kaeya slid off her desk and held his hand up as cryo began to form in his palm. "The first time you left, you returned passed out with a new name. The second time you went out, you nearly got blown up because I was in a silly mood that day. And then third, you came back with a bounty on your head from Celestia, and the forth time you returned with—"

"Alright, alright, I got it already!" She grumbled and crossed her arms.

"Goodness, I wonder what surprise she'll return with this time." Ayato mused which earned him a glare.

"It's better to be safe than sorry." Kaeya walked over to her and took her hand—palm up—into his and placed something cold onto it.

The cold had goosebumps running up her arms and when he pulled away she saw that he had placed a beautiful, but sharp, cryo dagger in her hand.

"Woah..." Her (e/c) eyes sparkled at its beauty.

"It'll stay nice and sharp without melting away—unless pyro is involved." He placed his hand on his hip and watched her cute expressions as she admired the weapon.

"Thanks, Kaeya!" She smiled at him.

"You're welcome, love." He returned the smile.

Ayato blinked a few times at the sight. He pressed the edge of his closed fan against his lips as he tried to keep a neutral expression on his face. 'How amusing,' he thought, 'another one has fallen.' This was an interesting turn of events. "It's quite sharp. Here, let's make a sheath for it." He raised his hand and hydro began to encase the dagger, the water was thick enough for the cryo to freeze the inner layer of water that touched the blade while the rest maintained its liquid consistency.

The light blue haired demon walked over to them and effortlessly pulled the sheath off the blade, making sure it was doing its job properly before handing it over to the witch so she could test it out herself.

(Y/n) slowly took the hydro sheath from him and was amazed how it maintained its shape and her fingers were able to hold onto it. Moments like these reminded her how well versed the demons she lived with were when it came to using the elements. She sheathed the dagger and placed it in her pocket. "Thanks, Ayato." She shot him a smile.
