"We did... I just don't know how she still has so much of it." Kaeya's glowing eye looked at the witch with confusion. Sloth had been taking some of her energy for a couple of minutes now, but he hasn't made a dent in her reserves. It wasn't like Alhaitham lacked the skill to efficiently take energy, he had to be one of the best at handling souls—right behind Kaeya himself and Zhongli.
The sound of metal hitting metal rang in their ears. Diluc was attempting to take down Barbatos while Zhongli stood before the trio to protect them from the angel's projectiles.
Wrath was slammed against a wall of the room by a strong gust of wind, the crater made from the impact would've made (Y/n) yell at them for fighting in her room if she wasn't unconscious and controlled by an agent of Celestia.
"Give up. You can't land hits on a creature made of anemo itself." Barbatos mused as he observed the red demon get up. He was quite the stubborn one, and the dark glint in his eyes made the angel believe he had yet to show his true power, but the archangel couldn't spend any more time messing around to find out.
Zhongli wasn't allowed to meddle in their fight, though Barbatos was sure he was due to a couple of geo pillars that Wrath used as leverage to throw himself up towards the angel.
Teal eyes stared at golden ones. The demon was enjoying the stalemate. The way that Pride's dragon tail lazily whipped around behind him was proof. He knew that the angel's time in Hell was limited.
And he was going to make sure that Barbatos' progress would be stunted with every effort.

Paws of a feline dug into the floor, the platinum blonde of his fur glinted from the lights of the hall as he ran back towards his human's room.
All Leaf was doing at the moment was following his instincts.
They were telling him to return to the witch.
Too many times had he not been at her side, it made the cat irritable.
"Leaf! Get back here!" Childe yelled as he chased the cat.
His presence caused the cat to run faster, but it wasn't enough as the demon behind was gaining up on him.
The feline dodged a net of hydro that was shot at him. This wasn't the first time that Greed has attempted to catch him with such a tactless trick. The cat maneuvered between each trap that Childe used to try catching him.
Suddenly, the floor became slippery.
Leaf skidded across the floor and lost control of his legs before falling onto his side. In the distance he could see Childe smirking as he sauntered over, each step the demon took caused the water that covered the ground to part before his boots made contact with the floor.
The cat quickly recovered and stood up, but the polished floor of the hall was slippery from the water. His paws felt like they were on soapsuds, they had no friction against the tiles.
To his dismay Childe caught up to him and plucked him from the ground, "Don't be a hassle. We're trying to protect you from getting killed. You'll see her when we get rid of that angel." Blue eyes stared into teal ones.
Though the man believed that whatever he was saying to the cat was gibberish, it seemed as if something he said triggered something within the cat. He looked at Leaf astonished when the normal slitted pupils of the cat changed before his eyes.
