Zhongli severely underestimated the stubbornness of the other seven demons. He believed that the enchantment placed on the mansion would keep them all in, and believed that Childe and Dainsleif would stay trapped in his makeshift geo cell until his return.

However, that wasn't the case. He was dealing with the escapees who acted like they had when they first landed in Hell.

Moments prior, Yae had gone to him with a serious look in her eyes, which was a rare sight. It was only until she informed him how some of his people had barged into her territory and began wreaking havoc that he understood the gravity of the situation.

It led to the current situation. Geo chains shattering from the overwhelming power of raw strength and pyro, barriers shattering from abyssal power, and demons cowering in fear from the unhinged battle manic with ginger hair as he kicked a guard's head when he leaped in the air, jumping from one of Zhongli's pillars.

Pride's fingertips glowed as he maneuvered his element to form a barrier around the three, attempting to do the same thing he did to Childe and Dainsleif back at their territory. He narrowed his eyes when Diluc threw his claymore at one of the pillars, causing it to crumble from the impact, and urged the others to do the same before a barrier could be formed around them. It didn't take long for each pillar to fall from the trio's hands. Every new one that sprung up was swiftly destroyed, regardless of how many he made.

This battle of endurance was going nowhere.

The Avatar of Pride took a deep breath to calm the boiling ire and irritation within him and summoned his polearm. The weapon materialized into his golden hand and he began to approach the three. He had no choice but to change tactics. It wasn't like he could freely use his abilities, there was the possibility of causing irreparable damage to this territory. His footsteps were heavier than usual; irritation was present in his demeanor. The intruders perked up as he approached.

"I will not tolerate such brazen and foolish actions any longer." His golden eyes gleamed with a dangerous look as he narrowed his eyes.

A low chuckle left Childe's lips as he twirled his twin hydro blades between his digits before they dematerialized into droplets of water which then formed into a hydro polearm. "Bring it." His eyes gleamed with excitement as he sauntered over to Zhongli.

Diluc narrowed his eyes. "We don't have time for this," he grumbled under his breath.

"I'll search for her." Dainsleif moved to separate from the group but was halted when a chain wrapped around his wrist and stopped him. He shot the red haired demon a look.

"Kaeya is already searching for her." The demon of wrath calmly spoke, sensing Dainsleif's irritation. "He is one of the few who's quite familiar with this territory. We just need to cause a scene to distract them."

The blonde glared at him; his abyssal magic began to melt the chain on his wrist. "What can a mere demon such as him do against the Demon of Eternity? What use is there for us to cause a distraction? Such passive planning will get us nowhere." The chain snapped. "If I have to destroy every creature that gets in my way then I'll do just that. She needs me."

The corners of Diluc's lips slowly curled up into a smile—it was almost mocking. "No. It is you who needs her."

Dainsleif's eyes narrowed.

The wielder of pyro crossed his arms. "You don't get it. You don't understand how things work here. It's not a matter of what Kaeya can do, it's a matter of how." He frowned. "Whatever you wish to do... it's too late. It's possible that the Demon of Eternity already has (Y/n). The only thing we can do is... see whether or not (Y/n) has survived the attack." He slowly spoke the last bit, quietly, as his red eyes took in the blonde's reaction. "And be there for her."
