The other individual sighed, "Psh, more like I wasn't prepared." His wings fluttered as he stretched.
"I see... that's not good. That poor soul, she must be in so much pain. I can't bring myself to understand what it would've felt like to experience the inability for one's soul to not be able to regenerate."
"Baal you're too kind. Perhaps this is why you should leave this issue in our hands. You don't need to concern yourself with this matter." Another spoke up.
"I agree, I think it might be best that Baal doesn't join us. Ei has fallen just like Morax. The more we involve our own personal affairs into this, then the harder it will be to get the รคςгเŦเςเคl ฬเtςђ."
"Then I surmise that it'll be me and you that handles the task of bringing her back, Barbatos?"
"Yes, Buer." The archangel seemingly floated in the air, though his wings were the one allowing him to defy gravity as he lounged in the air. "Physical means of directly taking รคςгเŦเςเคl ฬเtςђ won't work. It'll be too risky to bring forces down to Hell, we might start an accidental war."
Buer fell quiet as she thought deeply, "That means that we must try a different approach."
"And what could we do differently?"
"They're demons, avatars of sins. They have weaknesses that can be exploited." Her green eyes met his teal ones.
"Oh Buer~ You're so smart!" Barbatos giggled as he spun in the air, his wings creating a strong gust of wind that had Baal's tea cup tilting over and splashing the liquid all over the table.
"Goodness me..." Baal watched the liquid spill all over the place. "But... how would you exploit their weaknesses?"
"Oh it's quite simple. A demon ends up in Hell for their past misdeeds. You just need to ignite their own self destruction by introducing them to their trigger." The wise archangel spoke matter-o-factly. "For example, Ei's trigger would be you, Baal."
"But... Ei is a fallen angel. She is not a demon." The older twin frowned.
"Oh no, she is a demon. A demon is an evil spirit, and just like Morax, Ei turned against Celestia." She calmly spoke as if the archangel that hung around in the air above them never attempted to help the deserters.
"It was a mistake." Baal frowned, "Ei thought that I had perished in battle against Khaenri-ah. You cannot fault her for one mistake. We have all made mistakes before." Her purple eyes glanced at her two fellow archangels before her. "Mistakes do not make a soul evil."
"You're right." Buer spoke up, "But one does not simply slaughter hundreds—even thousands—accidentally. Perhaps if it was a single event in which that happened then perhaps, but Ei has done it multiple times. She slaughtered our fellow angels for you. That is no 'mistake'. She is a demon now."
With the evidence stacked against Baal, she couldn't find an excuse for her sister's actions. She knew they were right, but she couldn't see her sister as a demon. Ei was still an angel in her eyes.
"If you were to compare Ei's list of crimes to the avatars of sins' then you'd see some similarities." Buer's green eyes examined the purple haired archangel's features.
"Nonsense." Purple eyes snapped up to look into green orbs.
"Oh! I want to see it!" Barbatos chirped.
