ᴺᴼᵂ ᴾᴸᴬʸᴵᴺᴳ : "The Kill"
ᴠᴏʟᴜᴍᴇ : ▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▯▯Fate was looking out for her when it mattered most during life threatening moments.
(Y/n) woke up to find herself tangled in vines, which were only yards away from a couple of odd looking humanoid creatures below her. Somehow they didn't notice her despite being sure that her body falling into and being tangled in the vines would've made a lot of noise.
She looked around her surroundings as she felt where the vines where holding her up. One vine was wrapped around her left ankle, another around her left upper arm, and one around her right thigh. She tugged her hands free from the vines that loosely latched onto her and moved her legs around to see if her feet had anything to perch on. As she looked for leverage, her eyes scanned the area. She was quite high up and could land on one of the walls that surrounded the area like a maze, all she had to do was quietly escape from the vines that held her up.
Now that she thought about it... the human looked up to see where the vines were hanging from. Her eyes widen when she saw a rather large tree looming over the area.
She couldn't quite recall the events of what happened after she fell through the odd blue gate that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. However, she surmised it was probably a domain. Albeit worried that she ended up in such a place alone. It was a good thing she did some research on the topic of ley lines and domains, from what she'd learned there was a way out if one completed a puzzle or challenge provided by the domain. She just didn't know that a domain would look such a way inside, finding the puzzle or challenge would be proved to be harder than she thought.
"What an odd place..." She muttered to herself and turned her attention towards the creatures below. It would be best to avoid them, which meant she'd have to move carefully. With a deep breath she focused her elemental energy towards her hands, just like she learned to do when she made a flower bloom. Her hands emitted a green glow as she focused the energy on loosening the vines wrapped around her limbs, she didn't need to completely unravel it but just enough to slip out. If she completely loosened the vines then she'd fall—presumably to her (second) death.
Time was of the essence. She couldn't waste too much of her energy, she had a limit amount and didn't know exactly how much Alhaitham had given her. She felt the vines begin to loosen until it was enough for her to slip out. The glow of her hands disappeared and the feeling of the energy within her move up from her arms and back into her body.
(E/c) eyes observed the vines that led to the nearest wall, it was doable, all she had to do was swing from one vine to the other. A simple plan, but she knew that one mistake would have her falling right onto the floor or on one of the creatures below.
Sighing out her nose she decided to try swinging on the vines that she was currently loosely tangled in. It was best to test it out while she had support than rather to try it out later and fail. The vines gently swayed as she moved back and forth, the gentle rustling of the leaves were quiet enough to not catch the attention of the monsters below which encouraged her to continue swinging. She quickly grabbed onto the next thick vine that would support her weight, using a little bit of magic to pull it towards her like a magnet and causing it to curl on itself at the end to allow her foot to stand on the loop it made. Once her foot was able to perch itself on the vine she latched onto it and used one hand to hold on while the other held onto another vine. She continued the process to get closer to the wall.
