Diluc's red eyes glanced to his right arm, "That is why..." He cleared his throat and immediately changed the subject to distract her, "I've heard rumors of a lost soul harnessing the power of all elements. I presume that it's you?"
"Yeah..." She muttered, unable to tear her eyes away from his name. "I can handle it." She refused to let him avoid the topic. She turned to look at him, straight in the eyes. "In fact," her tongue ran across her lips, "I need it. Literally."
The Avatar of Wrath didn't look too convinced. His eyes glanced away from (e/c) orbs, "Did you know that if you take the elemental energy of another then you're basically taking a part of their soul?"
"Of course I know that. That's why I got only one type of element in me right now." She let go of his hand to lazily grasp onto his shirt, "I gave most of myself away to get my cat back." Although lethargic and weak, a small grin made its way onto her face. "I think if I can survive getting ninety percent of my soul taken away then I could survive eating up a part of yours." She joked.
Diluc glanced back at her, "It's not about surviving. I'm pretty sure you can thrive regardless of how much I give you." He looked down at her, his eyes narrowed to be half lidded, with a gaze so intense it would've burned if it could. "It's if you can handle it."
"Well... we'll just have to see." She let go of his shirt and patted his chest as if he was a dog, "Time's ticking, Mr. Bartender."
The sharp gaze of his ruby eyes seemingly pierced through the witch; his gloved hand grasped hers which patted him.
"Please...?" She sweetly asked.
She looked up at him with doe eyes and held back a mischievous grin when a small tint of pink appeared on the apples of his cheeks.
She maintained eye contact with him.
It was then that Diluc realized she wouldn't stop insisting, at least not until Childe or Kaeya arrived. His red eyes took in her features, her skin was losing its healthy color. He didn't know if it was the result of pushing the limits of her magic or if it was an elemental energy issue.
She was right.
Time was indeed ticking.
Diluc took in a deep breath and slowly exhaled.
"Don't blame me when you end up hurt." Was all he said before letting go of her hand and gently scooping her head off the bag which it rested on. His fingers gently tangled into her (h/c) locks as he lowered his face to hers. His soft lips brushed against the witch's as he murmured, "You asked for this." Before capturing her lips into a kiss.
He tilted her head back a bit and his other hand moved to cradle her head, his palm against the side of her neck as his thumb brushed against her right jaw, the rest of his fingers brushed against the nape of her neck.
A groan escaped her lips when she felt his fingers accidentally tug on her hair.
Wrath used this to his advantage and slipped his tongue into her mouth, forcing hers down so he could give her his element which she had begged for.
Just like with Alhaitham, she began to feel the wispy airy feeling of something entering her mouth. It was refreshing, like a cool drink in the form of a thick misty air on a hot day.
Until it sudden got warm.
And warmer.
Until it was hot.
