I want to love you
But their arms were open showing you a boreded up window
The cracks between the bored showed you everything you could ever want
While the boards themselves stayed as tightly nailed to the wall no matter how many times youve tried to break them off
I watched you from the other side of the room infront of a locked door
Just one lock
Its simple
You struggle to remove parts of lovable boards off of a widow that is unable to love
I held my hand out to you, a key right in the center of my palm
It's so easy
Just walk over here and grab it
Take my hand
But you don't
You never will
