double update, thank you all for the comments<3 read chapter 86 if you haven't already.

____________

"So what were you doing all the way out here?" JJ asks Jimmy.

I still can't believe I managed to board this piece of shit. I also can't believe this thing is still running. It was older than my aunt Linda.

The double engines were much louder than a normal sized plane. It was hard to hear if we were not close enough to one another. But no one was really talking, only listening.

"I got a little guide outfit in Saint Vincent," Jimmy explains. "I was spotting fish."

"What were you spotting?" JJ continues to question.

"Oh you know, the usual," Jimmy says hesitantly. "...Wahoo."

I could tell that something was wrong with that answer. Just by the look that John B and JJ exchanged with one another.

"Wahoo don't run in September," JJ explains to the six of us quietly. "Especially this late."

"You're sure?" Cleo asks.

"Positive," JJ says. "So whoever this man is, he isn't a fisherman."

"Maybe the run just starts earlier out here," Pope suggests, giving Jimmy the benefit of the doubt.

"You sure about that?" JJ says, "In the Caribbean?"

I didn't know much about fish. But JJ does, and he's usually never wrong about that. So he was definitely right, this man is lying to us about who he is.

"So who do we think this man is then?" I ask.

"He works for my dad," Sarah says, "He has to. There's no other explanation."

"Alright, we'll let's make sure you're right," JJ says, looking around the crowded plane. There has to be something around here that would help explain who this man is.

I spot an old brown bag, lazily thrown in I'm sure. I point to it silently, showing JJ without words that he should go through it.

"Distract him," I mumble to John B, and he inches himself closer to the seat Jimmy was in.

"Hey Jimmy?"

"Yeah?"

JJ slowly slides the bag toward him, and begins to search. Jimmy had kept a lot of things in here, a book, some notes, his wallet, and apparently some kind of picture. JJ hands the picture to Sarah, and I watch her face drop.

"The Coastal Venture," She whispers, but loud enough so we could all hear. Why does that sound familiar? She turns the picture around to show us and my face falls too.

That was the boat we were on. The one where Rose had paid off the men of that ship to let us board without our names being written down.

So Jimmy does work for Ward. Or Rafe, at this point.

"Hey y'all better grab ahold of something! We've hit some unexpected turbulence," Jimmy shouts back at us.

I take a deep breath and grab onto the black handles that hung from the roof. I close my eyes as the plane does a few drops from the wind. My stomach churning at the feeling. I never liked the feeling of free falling.

"Guys whatever's happening, it's happening fast," Kiara says, sitting up from the position she was in. "Look."

We all look out the front window to see another small skinny island.

"That looks like Barbados," Cleo says. "I've been there with Terrance."

Upon getting to know Cleo, I realized she was there the time I got shot. She asked one day what my scar was on my stomach and I explained the story. Come to find out the man, who had the gun pointed toward me goes by the name Terrance. Cleo's old boss.
