"You don't love him Nancy! You know that as much as I do! He's hurting, let him go. Just admit that you're in love with Johnathan and let Steve go." Rose doesn't know why she's fighting so hard for this. Nancy huffs out a breath of air...

Everyone from outside came running in. Will back asleep.
"Hey, get away from the windows." The kids all scrambled off the couch. Jim came storming in a rifle in his hand, he handed it out towards Johnathan.
"Do you know how to use this?"
"What?" He had no idea.
"Can you use this?" Jim repeated, his volume louder.
"I can." Nancy answered catching and reloading the rifle once it was tossed to her. All this without weapons stood behind the adults. Rose was in between Jim and Steve.
She felt the small hum on her powers at her fingertips. Everyone got silent. The demodogs sounded closer. They growled, calling out to one another. Steve swung his bat in front of him, twisting his grip around it.
One of them growled from the other side of the house. Everyone aiming toward it. Rose steadying her breath. The bushes right outside the window rustled.
"What're they doing?" Nancy breathed out.
"Surrounding us." Rose replied watching the next bush rustle against the glass. Another snarled from the direction of the front door. Everyone aiming that direction. Fear lingered in the air. Nobody knew if in that moment they would break through the glass.
A thud landed outside and the monster roared out. A snap, then a whimper. Rose furrowed her brows, tilting her head. Everything went still.
Rose jumped when the glass shattered as the dead demodog flew through, landing against the wall. They waited for it to get back up, but it never moved.
"Holy shit." Dustin advanced slowly closer to it. Jims gun still aimed at it.
"Is it dead?" Jim kicked its limp head. Everyone visibly relaxed.
Rose turned back to the window, then to the front door.
The chain on the door moved off the hinge, the lock unlocking. A slow smile grew on her face. The door creaking, and slowly swinging open. Eleven walked through catching very one off guard. All weapons lowering.
Rose let out a short breath, a smile growing seeing her sister. With slicked back hair, and smudged black eyeshadow. She looked like she was in a metal band but still, she was here. Eleven looked to all of them slowly smiling despite the blood dripping down from her nose.
Mike was the first to move through the group.
"Eleven?" He said in disbelief, El pulled him into a hug clutching onto the back of his sweater. Rose smiled at the two of them pulling apart but still holding one another. "I never gave up on you. I called you every night. Every night for-"
"353 days. I heard."
"Why didn't you tell me you were there? That you were okay?" Rose sighed stepping forward.
