Nine huddled up in the corner of a house. An old blanket with the least about if slime and grime, wrapped around her shoulders.
Nine shuddered snuggling further into the blanket. She's lost time. She doesn't know how long she's been here, months maybe.
Nine glanced out the broken window her eyes widening. That monsters head hung low to the ground.
In Nines time here shes seen three types of the same monster. One is the standing one, another walks on all fours, then the last is one that flies. She normally just runs, too afraid to use her powers, and get herself killed.
The storms never stop. The lightening is almost as if it follows her. She always has goosebumps all up her back and along her arms. She feels watched, all the time.
Nine backed up against the wall holding her breath. The lamp flickering beside her, a weird glow surrounding it. That shows up every once a while. She ignores it normally.
Nine squeezed her eyes shut bringing the blanket up to her chin.
She heard the weird low rumbling from the creature right outside the window. Nine gasped in a breath, shaking with fear. Goosebumps rose with a chill along her arms. Nine looked away from the wall, making the mistake of peeking up looking out of window.
Something grabbed her leg. Nine gasped throwing the blanket aside. Nines hands went to the floor, her nails scratching against the slime covered floor.
She held in a scream as a vine dragged her outside. She grunted the vine throwing her aside. She rolled over onto her stomach slowly pushing herself up. Staring right at her was the creature that was sniffing out the window.
She kept eye contact even though they had no eyes as far as she could see. Slowly pushing herself up she lifted her hand out aside her, her mind searching for any energy.
She found something and yanked it forward. A pipe came bursting ojt of the wall to her hand. She shot up shooting the pipe out behind her, the object going to fast it slid right into the creature. Its mouth was wide then it cried out, a metal pipe sticking out its mouth.
Nine didnt stop running just leaving the dying creature to lay there. She ran down the street, her legs pumping her forward. She licked the blood that fell from her nose. She slid to a stop turning into a store.
She ran inside sliding on the floor and hiding behind a shelf. Her chest rose heavily. Nine led her head hit the shelf behind her.
"Dead." Was all she whispered. Tears threatened to spill but she kept them at bay. It was going to hurt her. It was going to kill her.
Nine rose back up looking around the small building. She looked put the window watching the red sky grow brighter. It was freezing, and getting to what she thinks is night time. Rose backed away into the corner of the store. Bringing her knees to her chest.
