IN WHICH...
"You don't love him Nancy! You know that as much as I do! He's hurting, let him go. Just admit that you're in love with Johnathan and let Steve go." Rose doesn't know why she's fighting so hard for this. Nancy huffs out a breath of air...

"Rose, oh my gosh." Jean pulls the girl into a hug. Jim steps out of the car walking over to the two. His hands on his hips.
"Rose needs to stay here, there's some things that-" He begins to say, pointing to the door with a serious stare.
"She knows Hopper, she knows a lot more then you do." Rose cuts him off before he can put her on house arrest. Jims face pulls into confusion. Jean smiled at the man before patting his shoulder.
"I'll ride with Jean." Rose goes to turn to go into the house but she stops when Jim lightly grabs her arm. She pauses waiting for him to ask it.
"What do you mean kid. What is there that you aren't telling me?" Rose sighs putting a hand to his. She knew he meant well, he looked after her like his own. But she couldn't tell him, not this. Not when Eleven is in danger.
"I'll tell you anything but right now we need to go, because those kids are in a shit load of trouble and my sister is with them." She said sternly. Jean comes out with her keys in hand shutting the door.
"Where to?"
"The Wheelers." Jim says, the same look on his face. At least now he's getting into the car with Joyce, Johnathan and Nancy. Jean walks down the path to the car getting into the drivers seat. Rose follows and slams the door on the passengers side.
"He found her. Her found us." Jean shoots Rose a comforting look but had no wise words if wisdom this time. They are dealing with things way over their head. Jean puts the car in reverse and follows Jims car ahead if them to the Wheelers.
The entire car ride Rose couldn't help but keep looking over her shoulder to make sure they weren't being followed. She was beyond paranoid.
---
The group stood on a hill a mile or so away from the Wheelers. Jim had his binoculars put up to his face.
"My mom..my dad are in there. We have to do something." They were all watching the men in suits carry out boxes into the cars.
"They're going to be ok." Jim replies to the teen girl. Nancy shakes her head and begins to storm off. Rose rushes after her tugging on her arm.
"Nanc you can't!"
"Let go." Rose shakes her head stepping in front of Nancy.
"They aren't going to hurt your parents. They aren't after them, nor are they going to hurt Mike. But we also can't risk them by running in there like maniacs. We gotta be smart about this because they are going to be smarter. Trust me." Nancy calms down huffing. Rose could see the slight glimmer of tears in her eyes.
"What about Mike?" Nancy asks, her voice put of breath.
"They haven't found him yet. Not yet at least." Jim walks over pointing to the helicopter in the distance.
"For Mike?" Nancy asks in disbelief. Jim starts to pull her back into the car as Rose walks over her her and Jeans car. The two cars were parked right next to each other. Jim and Nancy stand next to their open doors.
"We need to find them before they do. Do you have any idea where he might have gone?" He asks Nancy.
"No I don't." She shakes her head.
"I need you to think."
"I dont know, we haven't talked a lot. I mean, lately..." Nancy sighs defeated. Her hands swinging at her sides. Rose bit her lip her focus on the ground.
"Any place that your parents dorm knew that he might go?" Joyce speaks up. Rose looks up in realization.
"I might know how to ask them." Rose thought to her walkie talkie under her bed. Now in her head she's thanking Dustin for forcing her to get it.
"Where?" Jim asks quickly.
"My house."
---
Rose is first to get out when they pull back into her driveway. She leads the group, as she runs to her room. She gets onto her knees reaching under her bed, feeling around for the box. Her hands feel the cold brick and she smiles.
She stands up beginning to pull the antenna up and flip on the radio. The group is all sitting in the living room waiting for her when she rounds the corner.
"Here." She hands the radio thats already on the right channel to Hopper.
"Mike, are you there? Mike?" Nancy speaks into the radio. They all sit in silence praying that there will be a response. "Mike, its me. Nancy. Mike, are you there?"
Nothing is said back. Rose sighs her knee bouncing as she lays back into the couch.
"Answer. Mike, we need you to answer." Still silence.
"This is an emergency Mike. Do you copy? Mike, do you copy?" Still silence. Jim takes the radio out of Nancys hands.
"Listen kid, this is the cheif. If you're there, pick up. We know you're in trouble and we know about the girl. We can protect you, and we can help you. But you gotta pick up." Still nothing. Rose sits up holding out her hand.
"Let me try Hop." He hands her the radio and sits back down.
"Eleven, Papa is back. I know you know that already. We gotta stop him. But we need to know that you're ok. He's looking for you, you and your friends. Please pick up." She takes her finger off the button. Silence. She sighs.
Shes about to hand it back to Jim when the static opens up and in comes Mikes voice.
"Yeah, I copy. It'sMike. I'm here. We're here."
The group break into grins. Relief fills the room hearing that they are ok.
"Where are you guys?" Rose asks into the radio. It doesn't take long for a response.
"The junkyard, we're in the old bus."
Rose looks up at the group pressing her finger to the button. "We're on the way. Over." She slides down the antenna, and they all leave the house and get back into the cars.
