IN WHICH...
"You don't love him Nancy! You know that as much as I do! He's hurting, let him go. Just admit that you're in love with Johnathan and let Steve go." Rose doesn't know why she's fighting so hard for this. Nancy huffs out a breath of air...

"Please Rose I will get onto my knees to beg. This is the last time I swear." Rose shook her head once again, the boy scoffing out dramatically.
"I told you she wouldn't." Rose scoffed shaking her head glaring over at the boy. She was sitting in her car ready to leave when five boys surrounded her car and refused to let her leave.
"You said the last time would be the last time you asked. Plus, I don't have any money on me." She sighed letting her head fall back on her head rest. Stretching one arm out to grip the wheel. Dustin opened his mouth but nodded admittedly.
"Yes, but that was before...." He trailed off.
"Before what exactly Henderson?" Dustin grasped onto the air, his face twisting.
"I got nothin'." He sighed out his head hanging low. Lucas patted his back for effort. Rose rolled her eyes with a smile.
"Don't you all have a dance to get ready for?"
"We were going to go to the arcade then meet up at the dance. Guess we will just meet at the dance." Lucas gave her pleading eyes but she shook her head again.
"I wish I could help you nerds, truly." She out a hand on her heart, Dustin scoffing. "But I really have to go, and I would prefer not to run one of you over yet." Rose smiled at them turing on her car.
"This sucks!" Dustin exclaimed. Rose put her car on reverse, beginning to back out when she leaned her head out.
"Be sure to use four pumps of the Farrah Fawcett spray Dusty." Dustin spun toward her raising up his middle finger. The other boys all looking at Dustin confused. Rose chuckled rolling up her window driving out of the lot.

Rose sighed at herself in the mirror. She's never been to a dance, and now her first one she was chaperonning it. She pulled down the red dress once again even though it did nothing. The red off shoulder dress fell down by her claves. Her brown hair was pinned and curled.
"You look pretty." Eleven said from her bed playing the end if her own dress. They were already late and Nancy was going to kill Rose once she got there.
"Thanks." Rose sighed turning away from the mirror. She put her hand on her hips looking at her little sister. "So do you El." Eleven blushed glancing behind Rose at the mirror. Rose put a little makeup on the girl, helping pin her hair away from her face.
"Girls, we should go." Jim knocked on the girls door. Rose pulled it open, Jim seeing them for the first time. He felt the spark of awe. "You guys both look great." Rose smiled at him bending to grab her shoes-black heels.
"Thanks Hop." She knew he was trying. Eleven speed walking out, a large grin on her face as she bounced on the door. "You think she's excited?" Rose slid her foot in, leaning on the wall for support.
