IN WHICH...
"You don't love him Nancy! You know that as much as I do! He's hurting, let him go. Just admit that you're in love with Johnathan and let Steve go." Rose doesn't know why she's fighting so hard for this. Nancy huffs out a breath of air...

The trio dumped their buckets in the middle of the junkyard. They all looked up as a voice called over to them.
Lucas and Max waved, walking over to them.
"Who's that?" Steve asked referring to the new red haired girl.
"Thats Dustins crush." Rose whispered, Dustin glared at her his face hardened seeing her with Lucas. Rose and Steve looked at each other sharing the same look for the boy.
Dustin pulled Lucas away to duck behind an old car.
"Hey Max, come help us with this." Rose waved the girl over picking up a piece of sheet metal to place against the bus. Max awkwardly waved tucking her hair behind her ears. Max helped Rose with her piece of metal, the two girls pushing it against the bus. Rose pulled her hands away, smudges of dirt lined her skin. Steve came over hauling another.
"You're Rose right?" Max said unsure. Rose nodded wiping her hands on her thighs. Steve huffed brining up his glasses to sit in his hair. "Is it true what Lucas said. About what you can do?" Rose laughed under her breath.
Lucas told her.
Rose glanced iver at Steve who subtly shrugged.
"Yeah." Rose nodded walking iver to the pile of metal. Max hurried after her catching her arm. A disproving look on her face.
"Look if this is some joke, you guys don't have to go to these lengths just to get me to forgive Lucas." Her tone was spiteful. Rose didn't blame her, she wouldn't believe Lucas either if he started rambling about superpowers and monsters from other directions. Rose sighed, wiping the forming sweat from her brow. The sun was starting to set.
"Look, I wouldn't believe it either. But Lucas, he's not a liar." She pointed to where Steve was talking to the two of them ushering them to help.
"Prove it then." She crossed her arms over her chest, Rose laughed shaking her head bending down to pick up a piece of metal. She bent halfway down, looking up at Max and tugging the metal sheet into her hands with her powers. Maxs eyes widened. Rose smirked, standing back up straight.
"Like I said, he doesn't lie." She winked at her then turned to drag the metal sheet over to the bus.
Rose helped dump gas all over the meat and left a trail to the bus door. She dumped it out, tossing the metal can to the side. Shes noticed Max hasn't stopped glancing over at her. Something bumped into her shoulder, Steve was patting his pockets.
"Do you got a lighter?"
"You're telling me our entire plan revolves around setting the things on fire and you don'thave a light?" She watched Steve face become sheepishly guilty. She grinned pulling the zippo lighter out of her front pocket. "I got one." She said quickly, he swipped it from her muttering under his breath. She laughed patting him on the back. Her eyes were staring at the setting sun.
