The Sea titan (Attack on Titan）

The Imposter, Annie Leonhart

Today is the day of their trial by fire. If they do not succeed in capturing the female titan now, all would be for nought. Even if he left behind so much technology he realised that the military police would simply confiscate them.

Unfortunately Levi can't help them. He apparently sustained an injury earlier in the titan forest but he didn't notice this whole time.

He paired up with Mikasa Eren and Armin, they would lure Annie underground, if they could trap her the situation would be alleviated somewhat.

Strapping on his omnidirectional tools and his trusty canteen of water, he braced himself for the battle to come.

Jean another random scout would be their stand in. Hopefully no one thoroughly checks the carriage.

They equipped their cloaks before disappearing into the streets. He and Eren waited as Armin finally lured Annie to them.

After acknowledging her they proceeded to travel deeper into the city.

"We got through surprisingly easy, that' s the mighty military police regiment for you. It goes to show what kind of work they do." Eren started a conversation

"It really is ironic isn't it, it's like you said Annie, the better you are at fighting the titans the further you are from them, and even now. When they are supposed to be elites within the walls they are still useless." He added

"Let's just hope they don't realise Jean took my place. He and I look nothing alike." Eren commented

"I actually think you guys do, if not for that horse face and that height."

"Yeah it'll be alright, you both have the same sort of mean, nasty look to you." Armin seriously added. He couldn't help but chuckle.

"Say, how were you planning to get over the wall. If I hadn't agreed to help? We were going to barge through using the ODM gear."

"That's crazy, couldn't you have just escaped before reaching stohess. Avoid all this trouble in the first place? Why did it have to be here and now."

"Well you know, you got to be crazy to join the scout regiment." He answered before letting Armin explain.

"I thought that the cities complicated layout would make our body double ploy more likely to succeed. Plus acting dutifully and keeping their defenses down will buy us far more time to escape than head in opposition would."

"I see, good point. For the both of you." Annie responded coldly, emotionless as always.

"Over here!" Armin shouted, leading them to the designated underground passage.

"Here?"

"Yes. We're going through here."

"It's what's left of an undergoing city they were planning to make. it leads to the vicinity of the outer gate." Armin explained as they descended the flight of stairs into the darkness below. To be honest, he's still creeped out by it.

"Really? That's amazing."

"Annie?" Eren called out. He looked to Annie to see her standing there, seemingly frozen.

"Are you scared Annie?" He called out

"Yes. I am." Annie answered seriously.

"Don't worry Annie, I'm scared too! Just close your eyes and let Eren lead you. That's how I usually manage. Although personally I'm also scared that if I were to be in trouble I won't be able to use my titan powers." He emphasised the last part with a bit of venom in his voice.

"I doubt people like you guys would understand, how a delicate damsel feels." She retorted, her cover falling apart now.

"I'm afraid to go down there, I'm not helping unless we stay above ground."

"Quit being stupid! Just get down here!" Eren shouted, his voice quivering ever so slightly.

"Don't shout Eren," Mikasa scolded

"It'll be fine Mikasa" He retorted.

"Because for some reason, this area has been completely deserted for a while." Annie stated coldly. "

"Man. That really hurts. At what point did you start looking at me that way, Armin."

"Annie. Why did you have Marco's omnidirectional mobility gear? it had all the same scratches and bumps. I could tell because I had helped him do maintenance on it"

"Yes, I found it and took it." Annie admitted "then that titan we captured alive, was it you who killed it?"

"Who knows?" Annie avoided the question, starting to look around more often than she should in a normal conversation.

"If you suspected me, a month ago, why didn't you do anything then?"

"Even now, I can hardly believe it. I just wanted to believe I had it all wrong. That's why I didn't." Armin answered his face going pale, his eyes bulging, sweating profusely.

"Back then, the fact that you didn't kill me back then is why we're in this situation now."

The wind began blowing, everything was silent for a moment, all that could be heard is the rustling of leaves. Then Annie started speaking again.

"Yes, I agree with all my heart. I never imagined you'd end up cornering me like this."

"Wait Annie, there's still a chance you're going along with all this as part of some horrible, idiot-" he didn't let Eren finish, he couldn't see him like this,

"Eren stop it. There's no denying it now. Annie...... is the female titan!"

"Come on Annie you can prove something just by coming down here!" Eren continued, ignoring him.

"I'm a failed warrior." Annie commented, warrior, that's a interesting term, he's gotta keep that in mind.

"Talk to us Annie! We can still discuss this as—" Armin pleaded before being interrupted by Mikasa. As she filled her cloak downwards and unsheathed her sword, he knew something big was finally going to happen.

"Enough. I can't listen to anymore of this."

"I agree, we need to take her now." He shouted as he took off the cap of the canteen he carried with him, the water inside threatening to spill out.

"We're going to carve you up, female titan." Mikasa warned menacingly, her face darkening dangerously.

All of a Annie let out the most yandere creepy ass laugh he has every heard. Just hearing it makes him physically cringe backwards. Her face was red as she laughed and laughed tilting her head up and down.

"Is that another piece of the female titans power? What was that laugh Annie, just hearing it is making me cringe." He eyed her with a death stare.

"Armin, it's nice that I could be a "good person" for you. For now you've won your bet, but my bet begins now!" She managed to shout with a crazy loom in her eyes before the handing scout regiment members attacked her.

Gagging her before she could bite her fingers. Just then he saw a sharp blade protruding from a metal ring he didn't notice he before hand.

"Run!" He shouted as Mikasa grabbed Eren and Armin, the four of them hurdled down the stair before he heard a loud thunder setting off outside. Igniting the ground below and basking the area in a bright yellow light.

He looked back to see the carnage left behind, the burnt bodies of the ambushing scouts and the cracked roads goes to show how powerful the blast was, and in the centre of it all, stands the female titan.......
