"Yes yes, please prepare the high explosive shells, i swear it will come in handy but be careful." He instructed the few Engineering corps members present who soon scrambled to retrieve the precious ammunition.

Luckily they didn't need much convincing to go get them. His reputation amongst the engineering corp must be really good.

"Please gather your squad in the hall. The strategy meeting is about to begin." A soldier walked up to Levi.

"All right" Levi answered nonchalant before strolling up to their group.

"Historia. I forgot to tell you. We need you to do something." Levi began as everyone surrounded the conversation.

"Yes?"

"Erwin's orders, when this battle is over, since you're the true successor to the throne, you become queen."

"What?"

"Queen Historia?"

"No! That won't be happening, she finally got rid of her burdens to that awful family and now you're roping her back into it? I'm not going to let that happen, you can't force her to do something like that." Ymir interjected passionately, walking in front of Historia defensively.

"The Coup was successful, but the citizens won't stand for a regiment being on top. What we need is a story to spread. That a true heir retook the crown." Levi continued.

"I-........" Historia paused still hesitant. "I understand, my next duty is to be the Queen right? Understood."

"Historia?" Ymir turned back, concern painting her face.

"Let me decide on my own, I wasn't forced into this, just think about it like that. But i have two conditions."

"What." Levi responded coldly.

"Ymir can stay by my side, and i can choose my own fate." Historia's eyes sparkled as Levi considered it. The mood shifting in the conversation to a more hopeful one.

"Sure why not? However she still has to come with us during the expedition." The man replied gruffly.

"Is that fine by you Ymir?" Historia excitedly asked, acting more like the old Krista for just a moment.

"Sure....It's your decision my queen." Ymir shrugged, clearly struggling to hide her emotions.

He's so happy for them...

(Short time skip)

Now standing in line before the important commanders he heard Mikasa whisper something to Historia that almost made him lose his composure and embarrass himself.

"When you're the Queen you can punch that runt in the face."

He was saved though as the serious conversation finally started which triggered his soldier instincts to straighten up and listen properly.

"We've determined the location of Rod Reiss Titan. It's southwest, approaching Orvud."

"Go now, load up those bullets." He motioned to a random engineering corp member who didn't protest and silently exited the room.

"Commanded Erwin please tell us you're plan. How do you intend to evacuate the citizen in time?"

"We won't evacuate." Erwin responded with no emotions whatsoever.

"What?"

"We'll have the citizens remain in Orvud District just as they are."

"Are you insane?" One of the higher ups questioned as the room bursted into whispers and muttering.
