(The true beach episode, year 851)

The fifty or so members of the survey corp are now partially under his control, his excitement is palpable. Luckily for him there hasn't been any titans so far in the trip. Commander Erwin's formation is still in use but to a much smaller degree this time.

Being in the command squad now... It's certainly a much different experience

"You were right Hanji. The Titans inside Wall Maria were pretty much all of them. We thinned out the majority in just a single year." Levi spoke up as they continued riding into unknown territory.

"In that case, let's head straight to our target as planned." The commander responded.

"We should be close to it, seeing our speed if we don't encounter any fights we should make it even before nightfall. We could set up a temporary base at their shelter afterwards." He suggested, petting his loyal stead Lyla affectionately.

"You could make it right Lyla~ who's a good horse." He cooed to the mare who neighed back and shook her head. He still can't believe she survived.

"Tsk, talking to your horse again. Both of the mom and son duo are weird." Levi commented with a glare at both of them who only chuckled. "Also how did your horse survive?"

"You know they call her Lyla the immortal now? She ran away from the battle since there's no one to handle her after my old squad started arming the comet guns. A few weeks later they found her grazing grass next to the gates of Trost." He retold as he continued petting his beloved pet.

Suddenly a red smoke signal loomed over in the distance. All three of them immediately snapping back into seriousness. While usually in an expedition the goal is to avoid titans as much as possible. With their small formation and the expectantly small number of titan the strategy changed to engage.

However, as the command squad reached the titan it was only a small 4 meter class that couldn't even walk. Eren, Mikasa, Armin and Floch right next to it.

Right...he remembered this titan now. How could he let it out of his memory? He has to remember not to rely on the future sight too much since large chunks of it are not in his memory.

He and the other members of high command simply ignored the titan and kept riding.

A few hours later they started entering a desert area. Passing around the mountains and eventually reaching the wall.

Building up slowly his instincts roared like a fire inside of him. The Sea Titan, the beast itself was practically clawing through his insides. So many years he had been away from the sea. Now he and his titan both are on the edge of their calmness. He HAD to get into the water.

It was right there, his titan senses could pick it up before anyone else.

This is it.

From his memory this is where Eldians were transformed into titans. It is also where Eren Kruger gave the Attack titan to Eren's father, and also the location where Ymir was turned. A place of horror.

Turning around the corner of it they entered a shady path leading out. Another pang of instinctual need bursting through him. This was it.

This path leads to my natural habitat.

What? Who's thoughts was that...

Ah right...Ymir made a completely different titan for him, of course it would be wonky and somewhat instill him with it's thoughts. This was an occurrence since day one, and now those voices in his head shall be fulfilled.

The light fell upon them as their horses made their way up the small cliff. The sand beneath their hooves turning more solid until it eventually reaches grass.
