The 57th Expedition

On the actual day of the expedition he and Eren were brought to brief on the formation. He has been transferred to the Levi squad for the time being. He has to get accustomed to the members . The captain is of course Levi himself, and there are a few more members. There's Petra, a orange haired girl with a bubbly personality. Gunthur, a tall man who is extremely capable and has many titan kills under his belt. Eld, a blonde with a small scruffy beard, and Oruo who just annoys him. Along with that there's him and Eren tagging along as well.

Nearly of mankind's strongest assets are in a single squad. One super soldier, two titan shifters and 4 elite soldiers.

Gunthur explained that they will be in the rear of the centre rank. The safest position. The're goal this time is only to go out and come back in again. Like a test run.

After the briefing, they were allowed to go say goodbye to their friends, in most expeditions only half of the scouts return home. The others would be killed or eaten on the outside.

He and Eren made their way to Armin and Mikasa.

"Guys, this might be the last time we see each other, so if you have anything to say say it now," I announced.

"I'm happy to be friends with you guys." That's the same response for the 4 of them. They all appreciate being with each other, and remaining friends for all this time. If this is a final mission for them all, then at least they have closure.

Just then, the others showed up as well. Connie, Sasha, Ymir, Krista, Jean, Reiner and Bertholdt. Wait, where's Marco, Thomas and the others? Before he could questioned it he noticed his friends faces first. All of their faces lit up, he could spot tears swelling in their eyes. 

"Yo....you......you're.... Alive?" Krista screamed rushing into hug him first, then Connie and Sasha  joined in as well. 

"Well, it turns out I'm a titan shifter like Eren... did you guys see the fish looking titan?" 

"The one that makes everything cold?" Jean questioned a bit furthur away.

Everyone looked shocked, especially Reiner and Bert. He didn't pay much mind to it though. 

"Yeah that one, I knew it was you guys who were with Eren's titan." He answered happily.

"Well thanks for the assist, but we could have gotten into the castle by our selves." Jean waved, dismissing his efforts.

"There's so much for me to talk to you guys, but first, where's Thomas Marco and the others?" He asked, half of his mind already knows the answer but he likes to stay optimistic about these things.

"They're gone....... Unfortunately not everyone would suddenly have titan powers." Ymir quickly answered for the group.

"Oh... well....." before he could continued, Levi interrupted all of them.

"Oi! Brats, come back to the briefing."

"We'll catch up with you guys later! Don't die on the next expedition or I swear I will summon you back to kill you again!" He waved at them, flashing back to when he created a summoning circle and had Eren pretend to be a ghost.

"Eren, Marty, this will be a test run to see if we can get you to shiganshina."

"Well....I still don't know what to do with this ability of mine." Eren dreadfully answered.

"As for me, I know what my abilities are, I can't seal the hole, I can only plug it up temporarily. I'm sorry Eren, but the pressure is all on you. I can only make sure to wipe out the titans in the area, and hold them back temporarily."
