*SATORU'S POINT OF VIEW*
He could tell it was you just from your silhouette in the dark. He stands and observes for a second as you place your hand up to the glass. God there's so many things he's thinking about doing to you right now, but he knows it's just too early, you haven't warmed up to him yet.He decides to test his luck and walks up to you, resting his hand on your shoulder. He's surprised when you don't move it away, but he also knows that you're probably just too lazy or don't care enough to do so. This annoys him because you should care about him touching you.
You move away from him before he can develop the interaction any further, and he thinks of ways to get on your good side to achieve his main goal. Even with his limited vision due to the light, he can still admire your body from across the room. He know it's going to take a long time, but winning his bet with Yuji and possibly getting rid of you from the firm at the same time? That's a win win situation for him.
*Y/N'S PERSPECTIVE*
I'm woken suddenly by someone calling my name. I shoot up straight in my desk chair, slowly peeling back my eyelids to see who it is. I eventually come to my senses as I brush my hair out of my face and see Satoru standing in my office. This makes me both angry and embarrassed at the same time."What are you doing in my office?" I ask him bluntly.
"I was just leaving. I knew you'd fall asleep so thought I should check before I left and sure enough..." He gestures to the desk I had just been napping on.
"So you just let yourself in?" I say defensively.
"I tried knocking, many times, but you were asleep. I wasn't going to let you spend the whole night here." He replies and I'm confused at his odd wording. I wasn't going to let you spend the whole night here. Does that mean... he did something thoughtful?
"Oh, Sorry. Thanks then." I say as I begin to gather my things from my desk.
"I'll walk down with you."
"No need." I reply as I smile back at him. I'm still extremely wary of his new, nicer behaviour and there must be some kind of ulterior motive behind this facade of kindness.
I walk out my office as I grab my phone out from my bag, looking over my shoulder slightly to see that Satoru is following me like some kind of lost puppy that just won't go away. I order an Uber as I reach the escalators, knowing he will most likely take the lift and I should get a break from him.
I am, in fact, wrong. I check behind me again, only to see Satoru lurking on the very step behind me. I give him a confused look over my shoulder as I step down another step, and he does the same, making sure he's on the one behind me at all times. I begin to walk down and reach the ground floor at exponential speed as a result.
As soon as I get outside, my Uber is already here and I swiftly get in before Satoru even exits the building, driving off away from Kento's offices. Could Satoru be any more sinister?
I finally flop down onto my bed in relief at being home. I check the time and it's 1 am. I have to say, I am slightly grateful to Satoru for not letting me sleep at the office any longer, if I had I would have been home much later. I check my phone one last time for the evening, only to see three missed calls from a number that I don't even have in my contacts.
I ring the number, rolling over onto my back as I do so. The line rings five times before the caller picks up, but there's not reply.
"Hello?" I say, unsure of why the person on the other end is quiet.
"Hey." Replies a male voice and I can't tell who it is just from the sound.
"Who is this?"
"You don't recognise my voice?" The man says with an annoying mix of arrogance and hurt at the same time. Now I know who it is.
