*SATORU'S POINT OF VIEW, 20 MINUTES EARLIER*
He taps his foot whilst he works at his desk, slightly on edge after he left Yuji and you alone in your office. He snaps himself out of his anxious daze, shaking his head as he reminds himself that there's no way Yuji could even possibly be stupid enough to tell you about the foolish bet the two of them made weeks ago. Or even worse, he might even tell you about his original motive for dating you. That he wanted to get you to leave the firm.Satoru likes Yuji, but he's not ignorant to how simple-minded he is. Plus, he knows that when you want something, you'll get it. If Yuji shows you even a whiff of any of Satoru's past wrongdoings, he knows that you'll either make him sweat or manipulate him to the point that you get your answers. It's for this reason that he's scared.
Maybe he shouldn't be so worried. How would that conversation between the two of you even start? He's sure that by now Yuji has left your office, and you're none the wiser about his old plans which were made redundant early on during the time you spent together. If you do find out, he doesn't know what he'll do. Satoru knows that your career is extremely precious to you. It's your means for stepping out of the limelight of your family, making a name for yourself (just like him).
And if you were to find out that he was initially trying to sink it? You might never forgive him. Or even worse, you might even think that everything he's said, everything's he's done up until this point could have been a lie. He throws his head back in frustration as he plunges into emotional turmoil before returning to his work.
A few minutes later he hears a shout from the corridor outside his office and looks up. He sees you dragging Shoko by her arm, and your gaze meets his for a split second as you look into his office. He goes to lift his hand and smile, but then he scans your face. You're not smiling. In fact, you're looking at him with a face of anger and betrayal.
He watches as you face forwards once again, not caring enough to look at him for a moment longer.
Something is very wrong.
He jumps up from his chair and runs to his office door, pushing it open as his eyes scan down the corridor and he watches the elevator doors close with you and Shoko inside.
"Fuck." He curses as he spins in the other direction and towards your office. Finding the door open, he sees that you've left your laptop on but brought your bag and coat with you, meaning you left in a hurry. "Damn it Itadori." He mutters under his breath as he slams his hand on the doorframe before moving off down the corridor, determined to find the cause of the shift in your mood.
He paces past various offices, finally reaching the large canteen area where he sees Yuji deliberating over a stand of pastries and cakes. "Itadori." He calls out to him as he paces across the room. Yuji's head snaps round at break neck speed when he sees Satoru, his eyes widening as he does so. After seeing Satoru's angry expression, he turns around quickly and begins to speed walk in the other direction, leaving the canteen and entering a corridor of offices.
Satoru paces to catch up with him, eventually pulling him back my the collar of his suit before forcing him to face him.
"What did you tell her?" Satoru asks angrily and Yuji rolls his eyes.
"What are you on about?" He replies.
"Y/n. What did you tell her!?" He says hurriedly and Yuji furrows his brow. Satoru sighs and slows down the pace of his wording, trying to get the message across. "Y/n is mad at me. I think you're the reason. What did you two talk about after I left just ten minutes ago!?" He asks and Yuji's eyes widen.
"Well, she told me she already knew, she was just asking about the specifics... So I assumed..." He begins, his words trailing off as Satoru tightens his grip on Yuji's collar.
