Chapter 25- Grounded

Dean was quietly sitting on rocks, looking out in the foggy distance when he heard footsteps get closer. He turned around and saw Castiel.

"I'm guessing I'm asleep right now?"

"Yes. I rather not wake you to talk. You need the sleep," Castiel said, looking at the mountains, "I heard your prayer as well. How come you didn't mention your fatigue?"

"My what?"

Castiel looked at him with knowing eyes. Dean sighed deeply, mentally kicking himself for forgetting Castiel's unusual ability to catch him in a lie.

"It wasn't important. I miss you, you know. Things aren't the same without you," Dean said.

"I know. I'm still working to find out what's going on in heaven. They claim that Lucifer is up to something," Castiel said, "Once I get a bigger picture, I'll let you know what I find. You mentioned Lucien Castle?"

"Yeah. I'm just as surprised as you are," Dean chuckled.

"I'm not that surprised," Castiel said, "He seems like the type to be attracted to you."

"What's that supposed to mean," Dean asked, narrowing his eyes at him.

"You're seem to be attracting powerful supernatural. Lucien is one them. He's strong. Stronger than Klaus," Castiel said, "Be careful with that one."

"Speaking of supernatural, have you checked on Benny lately," Dean asked.

"I have. He works with Marcel," Castiel said, "He seems content with being able to stay a vampire and working under someone has a moral code. Also, Marcel is a good leader. He really helped Benny feel welcome in his team."

Dean made a mental note to call Marcel and thank him for taking Benny in.

"When will you give him a solid answer," Castiel asked, going back to the topic of Lucien, "He seems quite serious about being with you."

"Are you okay with it?"

"Dean, if I wasn't, we would be talking in person, not in a dream," Castiel said, "Besides we already have Klaus with us so there's no reason not to...

"Klaus?"

"Yes. He's dating us, right," Castiel said.

"We're friends, Cas. We're not dating," Dean said.

"... He calls you love. He calls me angel. We all go on dates. He even lets me know if you've been feeling off," Castiel recalled, "Then there's the sex."

"Hold on! You had sex with Klaus," Dean asked.

"Yes. We've both had sex with him," Castiel said, "Though I think he calls on me a lot because I can keep up with his drive."

Dean opened and closed his mouth while also making a mental note to ask Klaus about this later. And when has he gone on dates with Klaus?!

"Going back to Lucien Castle, I plan on visiting him in his sleep," Castiel said, getting back on track, "Given that we're interested."

"I think he will be a nice addition," Dean said, still recovering from shock about Klaus and Castiel, "I already have an idea of what he likes."
