Dean sat up slowly as Sam sighed in relief.

"What happened," Dean grunted, looking at everyone smiling at him.

"You passed out along with Klaus, Lucien, and Castiel," Sam said, "You were the last one to wake up."

"Welcome back, Dean," Klaus smirked.

"Thanks, Klaus," Dean said, staring at one of the women.

Instantly, he could tell his link connected to her child. Dean moved over to her and knelt down.

"Hi, I'm Dean," Dean greeted, smiling at her warmly, "And your name might be?"

"Lisa," Lisa smiled, "I'm guessing whatever magic crap happened connected you to me?"

Dean glanced at her stomach and gave a short nod.

"Yeah, you guessed right," Dean said, "It shouldn't be too long now."

Lisa reached out and touched Dean's cheek.

"I think he knows," Lisa said.

Dean gave a look of confusion.

"The baby," Lisa said, "It sounds crazy but..."

"May I," Dean asked, holding out his hand.

Lisa grabbed his hand and placed it on her stomach. Dean felt his vision give out again, making him suck in his breath sharply.

Dean was standing quietly in front of a boy who appeared to be the age of 9.

"Not again," Dean grumbled.

"Are you okay," the boy asked.

"Is this real," Dean asked.

The boy walked forward and grabbed his hand.

"I am real," the boy said, "You're in my head right now. It's quieter in here, isn't it?"

Dean glanced at the boy in question.

"You're the baby," Dean said, making the boy smile brightly.

"I heard you," the boy said, "You were talking to my mother. I know this is wrong to do at such a young age but I got impatient."

"Do you have a name yet," Dean asked.

"You know me in a way," the boy said, "Klaus spoke about me to you a few times."

Dean's confusion slowly shifted to realization.

"Stiles," Dean whispered, "How is this possible? You're dead!"

"Reincarnation," Stiles said, shrugging, "Klaus didn't know at the time but I made sure to find a way back to him."

"May I ask you a question," Dean asked.

"Yes," Stiles said.

There were so many questions Dean wanted to ask him. How was he born? Was he human? Who was he to Klaus? Did he have powers as well? What happened to him? So many questions but not enough time.

"Did you link to me on purpose," Dean asked.

Stiles tilted his head and gave a mischievous smile.

"Yes, I did. I knew you were fathered by a vampire as well," Stiles said.

"Oh," Dean said softly.

"Dean."

Dean looked at Stiles again.

"He was my uncle," Stiles said, knowing the question that rested on Dean's mind, "Klaus was my uncle. Finn had me after turning into a vampire. It was said to be impossible. He turned me away though because I was not born human, I was considered a freak. An abomination of nature. I was worse than a vampire in my Finn's eyes. Klaus took me under his wing. He cared for me as his own child. I made him happy for a while..."

Dean gave a look of sorrow.

"He misses you," Dean said.

"I know he does," Stiles smiled, "You being in his life probably helped a lot, I'm sure. Thank you for taking care of him."

"He's done the same with me," Dean said.

"Another thing to consider," Stiles said, "Getting a home away from everyone else. A home for you, my siblings, the links, and women. It will safer. That way we can protect you easier."

"Protect us," Dean said, "We're supposed to be..."

"Dean, you think you linked with us to save Damon," Stiles asked, "This was part of a plan. He knew you would take Bonnie and Damon's place. He was counting on it. You need to get a separate home. If you don't, you'll end up putting your family in more danger."

"How are you so self-aware," Dean asked.

"I am a reincarnation of a vampire child who has learned more tricks of my nature than you have," Stiles said, "Although I am in the womb, I'm smart enough to know when I'm in danger."

"Then why appear as a boy," Dean asked.

"Because this is how I looked when I first met Klaus," Stiles smiled, "Plus, I thought maybe a younger form would appear less threatening to you."

Dean huffed out a small chuckle as a smile grew on his face.

"You have work to do," Stiles said, "I hope you won't ignore my warning."

Stiles turned around as a door appeared.

"Thank you for talking with me," Stiles said, "I'll see you soon, Dean."

Dean turned to the door and then back to Stiles, who nodded at him to go. Then he walked to the door and grabbed the doorknob, making a bright light blind him.

Dean came back to his senses and looked at Lisa, who looked concerned.

"Thank you," Dean said, getting up.
