Chapter 31- Four Powerful Individuals

Damon allowed Rowena and Kai to work a spell on him as well. Elena, Sam, Stefan, Bonnie, and Dean stood by while they worked. Damon was quiet as they began chanting. Once the link was found, Damon grimaced in pain.

"Dad, put your right hand up if it's too much, okay," Dean said.

Damon glanced at Dean and remained still. Rowena sucked in a breath sharply as they stopped.

"It's two other pregnant women," Rowena said, "That makes four in total."

"Four pregnant women, four Nephilim children," Sam sighed, "That's fucking great."

"Doesn't explain last night though," Elena said, crossing her arms, "Why they reacted that way and lashed out."

"Angel radio," Sam explained, "Nephilim have angel radios as well. During the moments when a lot of angels are speaking, it can be... Painful."

"Even with Castiel it's slightly painful," Dean continued, "He looked like he was in pain last night when it started."

"We need to find those women," Kai said, walking up to them, "Unless you're okay with Damon and Bonnie dying..."

"No, Kai," Sam said, "For the last time, I'm not."

"Okay. It's a suggestion I wanted to put out there in case you change your mind at all," Kai said, putting his hands up in surrender, "I can do a tracking spell to find them. I need to draw some blood from Damon and Bonnie though."

"We can do that," Dean said, "Is there a way we can also switch the links as well?"

"What do you mean," Kai asked, "You mean like, give the life links to another person?"

"Yeah," Dean said.

"Unless the person is a blood relative to them, not exactly," Kai said.

"If there isn't a blood relation to one of them," Dean asked.

"Well, it could also be transferred to Damon then to someone related to him, and vice versa," Kai said, understanding Dean was planning to accept the life links, "The only problem with that is the amount of fucking pain you will go through. Not to mention the mental altering your brain will have. Also, four pregnant women connected to only you will leave you unconscious. It's already draining Damon and Bonnie as we speak..."

"I can handle it," Dean said.

"I'm not saying you can't," Kai reasoned, "If it doesn't kill you, then it's going to fuck with your head..."

"What if the links are shared with others?"

Kai and Dean turned to see Klaus, Castiel, and Lucien walking up.

"Four powerful individuals capable of holding all four life links," Castiel said, "That way he doesn't have to take all the pain?"

Dean's eyes rested on Lucien. Lucien gave a small smile as he gained eye contact with him.

"If that was the case, it would probably work," Kai said, "The only thing is if we do this then we'll have to connect your life with Lucien, Klaus, and Castiel as well. Since you aren't relatives by blood, you'll need another connection for it to succeed."

"We can do that," Lucien said quickly.

Kai left to start a tracking spell for the women.
