Dean tensed as he hid behind the corner in the Mikaelson mansion. He only turned his head for a second and suddenly he was transported here. Wherever the hell here is. There was someone else here with him. Someone he knew all too well.

Dean checked the gun in his hand. He's not sure he can go through with this. Sure, he wasn't his actual son but he can't kill his own father. He couldn't kill John. No matter how much of an asshole he was.

"Come on, Dean," Dean mumbled before rushing out of his hiding spot.

Dean checked his surroundings with his gun raised. He kept his breath steady as he moved through the floors that seemed to only get larger the more steps he took. He felt something behind him shift and turned in time to knock the blade from John's grasp.

John ducked and dodged his two hits, hitting him twice in the gut and kicking him hard enough to knock the wind from his lungs. Dean slid on the ground, stabling his stance and dodging out of the way as John's machete attempted to slice his head in half. He gritted his teeth while quietly hissing in pain from the soreness from the hits he's taken. His eyes flickered black, altering his body so the pain didn't slow him down.

"Dad, if you're still in there, I know you wouldn't do this. Alright? It's me. It's Dean. Your kid," Dean said, dodging his attacks easier, "You gave your life to save me. So snap out of it already."

John grunted in frustration, watching his movements better. Dean didn't want to do this. He didn't want to hurt his father. As he aimed his gun at him, John disappeared from sight, making Dean flinch. Wait a minute. Since when could John disappear like that?!

"Not John... Definitely not John," Dean mumbled to himself while frantically checking his surroundings for some sign of him.

"You think I care if you're the same Dean or not?"

Dean was knocked back from being uppercutted. He jumped back to put some distance between them. It won't last long though. Dean knew it. He couldn't see him. There was no trace of his presence. And this John fights the exact same way the other John did.

"You and Sam. You were both such a huge pain in my ass."

Dean hit the ground with blood spilling from his mouth. He cried out as John's blade sliced Dean's leg from his body before he stabbed him through his shoulder. Dean stumbled back as he struggled to find his footing without his other leg. He needs to recover. He needs to figure out a better plan. He needs...

"I'll be sure to finish off Sam after this. Don't worry. I'll make his death quick just for you, Dean."

Dean sucked in his breath, his sense of survival boiling into overdrive. Not Sam. Anyone but him. He wasn't sure what it was, but it felt like something in him broke free. Another part of him had woken up. It took him a minute to even realize that he wasn't controlling his body anymore. Although he could see, he couldn't move. Someone else was moving in his place.

'Dean' raised his injured shoulder, his blood cupping in his hand and expanding into a staff. He used the staff to stabilize his stance. John narrowed his eyes, readjusting his grip on the machete.

"I guess this is round two."

'Dean' flickered his eyes to give himself the strength to lunge on the balcony. He grunt upon landing and raced towards Klaus's bedroom and locked himself inside. John clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth and made his way to him.

"What is this? Who is this? Dark Hunter," Dean asked.

"I'm here but it's not me," Dark Hunter said.

"Then who is he," Dean asked.
