Sam cursed loudly as the spell didn't work. Lucifer laughed at his attempt as he tried to find where he went wrong. He spent two weeks gathering these ingredients and now it seems like a huge waste. Maybe he should've listened to Dean when he opposed his idea the first time.

"I just don't understand where I'm going wrong. I did everything to the last point," Sam muttered, looking through the recipe Kol gave to him.

"Hey, Sammy."

Sam turned around to see Dean standing there. A small smile grew on his face at his brother showing up to support him, even if he didn't approve of his idea.

"Need some help," Dean asked.

"I don't know if you can help, but you're free to try," Sam offered.

"I can't. But someone I brought with me can," Dean said, looking over at Stiles.

"Hi, Uncle Sam. I heard you were trying to do a spell. In my past life, I was quite the student in magic," Stiles said, stepping forward, "You mind if I...?"

Sam handed over the instructions. Stiles looked through it, examining it thoroughly.

"So you used to study magic," Sam asked.

"Still do in my spare time. There are so many forms out there," Stiles said, "You know, Uncle Sam, you would make a great witch. Specialty wise, I think your talents might be a..."

Stiles frowned while looking closer at the ingredients that were being used.

"What's wrong," Sam asked.

"It's too weak. Even if it did work, it wouldn't have held him for long. Lucifer would've escaped," Stiles explained, shaking his head.

"Okay then. How do I make it work," Sam said.

"You need a stronger binding agent. It could be an alpha dragon's scale, a fairy's tear, or...," Stiles started, turning his attention to Dean, "The blood of a vampire's child."

Sam thinned his lips, not wanting to ask Dean for his blood.

"I can look around the bunker for a dragon's scale or fairy's tears," Sam said, reaching for his keys.

Dean rolled his eyes with an exaggerated sigh. He rolled up his sleeve and offered his arm to Sam.

"You don't have to do this, Dean. I wouldn't ask you for your blood," Sam said.

"I know. That's why I'm offering," Dean said, "Come on. Let's get this over with."

Sam reluctantly pulled out his pocketknife and grabbed Dean's hand. He guided his arm over the bowl and cut into his skin, allowing him to bleed into the bowl. Sam noticed how quiet Lucifer became. In fact, he almost seemed nervous.

As soon as he stopped, Lucifer broke free from his chains, attempting to charge at the two. He froze before he could make any moves though. Sam and Dean turned back to Stiles who kept him still with a pointed finger.

"No interruptions," Stiles ordered, shooting Lucifer back into his seat so hard the chair slightly tilted.

Stiles turned back to Sam.

"Now mix in with the same ingredients and flower used in his drink," Stiles said.

Sam did as told, continuing the spell. When he was done, Stiles began saying a different chant that wasn't even Latin. It sounded like a different language altogether. Lucifer grimaced lightly as symbols were engraved into his bones. Once Stiles stopped, he took the small amount of ash left in the bowl while calling down Stefan and Damon.
