The next day, Dean was shaken awake. He sat up, ready to attack until he saw Castiel's eyes.
"What is it, Cas," Dean asked, grabbing his cellphone, "What time is it?"
"6 in the morning. Dean, the kids are gone," Castiel said.
Dean's face shifted to full-blown panic. He got up and went to the empty cribs. He turned to see Klaus and Lucien gone.
"Where are they," Dean asked, talking about Klaus and Lucien.
"They went looking for the kids without us," Castiel said.
"Crap! The one time I choose to go into a Hunter's coma," Dean complained while putting on his boots, "They couldn't have gone far, right?"
"Not likely. They're infants. Unless someone took them," Castiel said, "Even still I would've known."
"I'll call everyone to help search for them," Dean said, dialing in a number.
"Klaus called his siblings already," Castiel said, heading out the door with Dean.
Dean's panic grew as they practically searched the whole town.
"Dammit," Dean growled, grabbing at his hair while turning in a circle, "Okay. They're probably... They... Maybe..."
He felt like he wanted to scream. He was so focused on thinking of other places to search that Dean didn't even realize the lamp above him folding towards him.
"Come on, babies. Where are you? Give me a clue or something... Stiles," Dean whispered.
Dean flinched as his phone started ringing.
"Bonnie, please tell me you got something," Dean answered.
"You're gonna want to come over," Bonnie said, "All of you."
Dean told Castiel what Bonnie said in a short prayer to save time. He raced over to her and Enzo's home while calling Klaus and Lucien to let them know. They arrived around the same time everyone else did. All of them were in a panic, including Klaus's siblings. Bonnie walked outside with her hands up. She made a motion telling them to keep quiet, then led them to the door.
Dean knitted his eyebrows as he saw Stiles, Isaac, Jack, and Hope all asleep on the sofa beside Enzo. Except they weren't babies anymore. They looked around the ages of 15-16 years old. Dean turned to Bonnie in question. She motioned for him to step to the side to talk.
"What happened," Dean asked, hearing Castiel close behind him.
"I woke up to the sound of knocking on my front door. I opened it and they were all standing there. I didn't know they were your kids until I received a call from Damon," Bonnie explained, "Then I asked their names and they told me Stiles, Isaac, Jack, and Hope. Dean, I'm freaking out right now! They were literally babies yesterday!"
Dean gave a breath of relief, more grateful they were okay than worried about the advanced aging.
"Why would they come here though? I don't get it. Why not just come back home," Dean asked, shaking his head.
Bonnie shrugged as she truly didn't know the answer to that either.
"And Enzo," Dean asked, noticing they were asleep beside him.
"He was telling them a story from his past before they fell asleep," Bonnie explained.
"For what it's worth, thanks, Aunt Bonnie. I'm glad you kept them safe," Dean said.
"No problem. Dean, if I had known beforehand that they were yours, I would've called earlier," Bonnie added.
"I know," Dean said, giving her a reassuring smile.
"Dad?"
Dean turned his head to see Stiles still wrapped in a blanket staring at him. He walked up to him slowly.
"Stiles," Dean said, "Hey, kiddo."
Stiles stared at him for a moment.
"You're worried," Stiles said.
"You gave me a scare. You and your siblings taking off like that had everyone pretty worried," Dean explained, "I thought something happened to you guys."
Stiles knitted his eyebrows in guilt.
"We wanted to look around the city a little, but you, Klaus, and Lucien were asleep. We didn't want to wake you up. So we went out on our own. We're sorry. We didn't mean to make you upset," Stiles apologized.
Dean gave a gentle smile and hugged him.
"I'm just glad you all are okay," Dean whispered, feeling Stiles hug him back, "Let's go home so we can get you some actual clothes."
Stiles looked down at his blanket before looking at Bonnie.
"Thank you for helping us," Stiles said, "I have a gift for you."
Stiles held out his hand with his palm facing upwards. A flower bloomed in his skin before he plucked it and handed it to her. Then he went to retrieve his siblings.
Stiles, Hope, Jack, and Isaac were fully dressed after they got home. Lucien, Dean, Klaus, and Castiel talked amongst themselves as the kids talked with Stefan and Damon.
"So our kids are teenagers now," Dean said, "Why are they teenagers again?"
"Nephilim can progress their age if desired," Castiel said.
"Why now? What is it that they know? What do they sense that we don't," Klaus asked.
"Maybe they don't sense anything. Nephilim have angel radio, don't they. Perhaps they heard something that we didn't," Lucien reasoned.
"If they heard something, then I should have too and so would Gabriel," Castiel said, "Something isn't adding up."
"Stiles is supposed to be a reincarnation of the past Stiles as well. He doesn't seem to act like it much. He's barely given Klaus and the other Mikaelsons a second glance," Dean noted.
"He does have his appearance," Klaus said, glancing at him.
Dean rubbed his forehead, making his hair fall in his face from leaning down. He was supposed to cut his hair a while ago so it's grown quite longer than it should have. At this point, his hair almost matches Sam's length.
"Well it's not like we're going to give them up. I mean they're our kids. We're their fathers. We made a promise to raise them, not only to their mothers but to them," Dean reasoned.
"I agree that we should keep taking care of them as our own. After all, if a normal family tried to take them in it would spell chaos for everyone involved," Castiel said, "At least we have a fighting chance in understanding them."
"I suppose that counts me in as well," Lucien said.
They looked at Klaus for his response. He glanced at their faces.
"Hope called me her dad. As far as I'm concerned that girl is my flesh and blood," Klaus said.
They all playfully grinned at Klaus.
"What is it?"
"You've gone soft, Klaus," Dean teased.
"How about I stab you in your sleep," Klaus threatened.
"Aw, he's so cute," Lucien taunted.
"Not this again," Klaus muttered, shaking his head.
Klaus got up to hide in the bathroom. They started laughing at seeing his cheeks slightly tinted pink before closing the door.
