Leaving a wonderful life Rudy Sinclair had always known was the worst thing that has ever happened to her.
Forks, Washington was absolutely Hell on Earth. Too much rain. Not a single Dr. Pepper in sight. She would surely die of thirst.
That is if...

It takes about four tries to get into her locker but Rudy finally manages to get the damn thing open.
A big smile blooms on her face when she shoves her things inside the metal box. Suddenly glad she won't have to carry everything to every class.
Though her gleeful expression quickly sours as Jessica decides to strut over with a scowl set on her thin lips.
"Bella is going to hang out with us at lunch today. Is that okay with you, Rude Jane?" Jessica asks in a very fake polite tone. Tilting her head to appear as a saint. Like nothing she's doing is anything but nice.
Rudy roughly grins from ear to ear. An anger-filled flush makes its way to her cheekbones. She is totally wanting to rip out that chick's caramel hair.
She grips her backpack straps tighter before speaking. A way to keep her grounded. Like an anchor. She really needs to get a hold of herself.
No need to lose her shit in front of this odd crowd any more than she already has.
The girl from Texas leans forward to make sure the other hears her perfectly. Jessica accepts this. A small smile on those thin lips.
"Is that what you've been calling me? It's got a nice ring to it. I'll make sure to keep worthy of it." Rudy smirks just before slamming the door to her locker.
It echoes into the hallway, making some folks flinch roughly. A lot of people pause to stare at the commotion. Even the three remaining Cullens have to get a look. Too bad Rudy has no idea that their piercing gold eyes are studying her too closely.
Rudy offers Jessica a playful salute before galloping away. Her heart races with happiness. She's going to wallow in this triumph surely.
She's going to have to call Bella about this after school. No need to gloat about it in class.

Rudy spends the day with her face all bright and cheery. Not even Mike's intense glare can make her frown. Her glorious day can't be ruined.
"So you aren't mad?" Bella asks her for a third time on their way to the cafeteria.
Rudy shakes her head. That curly hair just flying away. Some of it hits Bella in the face. The pale girl laughs slightly as it caresses her cheeks.
"Honestly, I don't understand why she has to be such a bitch. I ain't done nothing to her. Is she always like this?" Rudy shrugs her shoulders as they approach the double doors.
She felt the cold air whoosh in her direction. The girl feels her whole body shoulder. Rudy shoves her hands into her blue thick jacket pockets. Loud talk around the many lunch tables fills her ears to their limit. She won't be surprised if she walks out of here later with a headache.
