She feels their cold animal eyes staring right at her. As if she were a bane in their existence. A scab on the surface of their scalp that refuses to heal away. Jerks they all are.Rudy Sinclair bounces her leg as she continues to stare at the very pearly white tiled floor in the Cullen house. Her frail fingers grip the edges of her yellow jacket tightly. Anything to keep her conscious.
She's tired from absorbing all this new information. Her hand is in so much pain that her body keeps trying to knock her out to continue the healing process.
Their whispers carry to her ears. She tries not to worry about what they think. It's nothing to what her thoughts are currently saying.
When that blonde, infuriating Jasper shoved her inside the home she was greeted by a fairly excited couple. It was more than eerie. Disturbing.
Esme with simple brown hair smiled warmly and took Rudy's hands in hers. The human inhaled sharply from the very cold touch. But she didn't pull away as her instincts told her to. It just didn't feel right.
"We've waited a while to meet you," Esme admitted with a small smile.
Those words crisscrossed inside Rudy's brain for a moment. Not really understanding what that meant. Then the man who was standing next to her spoke soon after.
"This all must be very hard to understand. We will do our best to answer all your questions for us that you might have." His kind golden eyes did nothing to offer Rudy comfort. Neither did his neatly combed blonde hair.
Her nostrils flare wickedly. She ignores the pale blonde woman at the back of the living room who had steps forward. As if ready to take the human down she makes one wrong move.
"Don't worry, I read a book. I'm all caught up." Rudy practically spits the words and heads straight for the couch.
Emmett stepped out of the way with a whistle. His grin was wide. Noting that the human was far more brave than Bella ever was. And that her right hand was starting to turn an ugly shade of purple.
Now she sits in total since to allow her mind to come up with an escape plan. There's no way she'd actually stay here. Sleeping under the same roof as these people is insane. Do they think her to be stupid?
The vampire family is huddled together at the far end of the living room when Rudy finally lifts her head. Carlisle, the father of these vampires, is currently discussing in which room to put her.
More specifically, who'd be watching the most reckless, the most unpredictable human he's seen in a while. She should be given an award for that.
Rudy inhales deeply. Anger squeezes her heart tight. As if she needs to be watched. She isn't a damn child. Why can't anyone see that?
She stands up in a rush and stalks forward. All of them instantly break into a line. Ready for any attack. This makes Rudy want to yell more.
