. CHAPTER NINETEEN
🖤🖤🖤

elaine woke up to the annoying sound of her alarm clock, which immediately brought her whole mood down as she turned it off. the second she realized what day it was, she jumped out of bed. she couldn't contain her excitement for seeing her parents and friends.

but what she was most excited about was to see matt.

she decided to put the outfit on that she brought along with her, in case she had the chance to flirt with cute boys, but now that didn't even come to her mind. only matt did.

elaine wore black sheer tights with a matching black tight-fitting skirt, which she combined with a brown long-sleeved top. she decided to put her black boots on and pay more attention to her hair, styling it a little bit more as she put volume into it. on top of that, she applied a bit more makeup than always. looking at least three times into the mirror to look at herself, seeing if there's something wrong. when she was satisfied with her looks, she left the hotel room with her bag being packed and headed right to the breakfast buffet.

"woah!" cara gasped out when her eyes caught sight of elaine walking towards her, who grinned widely. cara's eyes where wide open just like her mouth as she walked alongside elaine.

elaine blushed at the amount of compliments that cara fired her way, which only gave the blonde girl more confidence as she walked into the cafeteria of the hotel with her eyes searching for his face.

when she spotted matt, a genuine smile came across her face.

he sat by one of the tables at the window seats, next to three other boys while he ate his food. he didn't talked like the other ones did, instead he just sat there in silence with a bored look. when he looked around the cafeteria to see if everyone arrived yet, his eyes fell onto elaine and he did a triple take. his eyes widened so much, they where close to falling out.

she looked absolutely breathtaking.

elaine stood by the buffet, getting food but she turned around with her eyes looking right at matt. she felt herself become extremely flustered when she saw the way he absolutely gawked at her. she shot him a grin before she turned back around to focus on what cara was telling her.

cara and elaine took a table not too far from matt and the other guys. the other guys took notice of elaine's outfit and they started gawking at her, which she would've enjoyed in another time but now she was only focused at the fact that matt didn't looked at her anymore.

"yo, looking good elaine." one of them said with a grin which made the one next to him slap him against the shoulder with a giggle.

elaine sheepishly nodded at the guy, "thanks."

but her eyes never really left matt.

"wanna sit with us?" the one besides matt says with raised eyebrows while his eyes went in between the two girls, who shared a look with each other before they gratefully nodded and made their way over towards the table.

cara sat down in between the two guys while the other guy said that there was still a place between him and matt. elaine was happy about that, hoping to get some reaction out of matt.

when she sat down in the middle after they made room for her, they all fell into a quick conversation about the upcoming school days. the seniors talked about that it was already turning december soon. but elaine couldn't focus on the conversation when she saw that matt was only on his phone, not even giving her a single glance.
