"you're the worst driver in the whole world."

"that's the biggest lie i've ever heard."

"looks like no one's every lied to you before."

"oh my god, guys!"

cinzia and matt shot their heads around from the front row of the car, looking into the backseats and at vera, who was very much annoyed with the two of them since they haven't stopped bickering around the whole drive. and it's been an hour.

"it is seven in the fucking morning." vera said with a glare as she switched her eyes between the two, "so, shut the fuck up."

cinzia rolled her eyes at that, crossing her arms over her chest as she leans back into the passenger seat but this time she actually did stay quiet, but only because vera would beat her ass if another sound came from her. and only because chris was peacefully sleeping inside her lap, his hair all messy while he slightly snorted. cinzia scrunched her face up at the tiny sounds and the way chris looked like he's paraplegic, but vera still had that loving look on her face like chris was the most beautiful thing she's ever seen before. cinzia didn't understand that at all.

"when elaine is here, i'm gonna shove you into the backseat anyway." matt then said with a satisfied grin as he rounded the corner to drive up to the parking lot of the crowded airport. cinzia let a small smile come across her face at the mention of elaine.

"god, i miss her so much." cinzia then sighs as her eyes automatically scan the crowd full of people leaving the airport, trying to catch the familiar blonde head, "i wish she would still live here with us."

matt glanced over at cinzia, "technically, she still does."

college.

it's been a whole two years since the friend group graduated and elaine finally sealed her relationship with a kiss from matt on the very last game night of their senior year. they've all had applied to colleges and it was clear that they would all go to some nearby and still be able to all see each other. well, this one went down the drain for elaine because she was the only one who didn't got any of the acceptance letters from the one's nearby. she on the other hand, had her college in a whole other state. that sucked a lot for all of them, especially matt since they all couldn't see her that often. she was only able to come back to boston in the semester breaks, where she would be absolutely thrilled to see them all. even though matt stole her most of the time to give her date nights that she would never forget.

"yeah, but it's not the same." cinzia sighs as matt finally parks the car and everyone seemed to be highly awake now since elaine would be coming soon.

"yeah, i know."

"elaine's back home bitches!" nick screeched out as he jumped out of the car, actually holding up a goofy sign that he made together with chris for everyone to see and most of all-for elaine to see.

cinzia snorted loudly as she scrambled out of the mini van with the others, chris being more awake now than ever as he wore a bright smile just like everyone else. vera was also highly on energy, not being able to hold still since she was able to see elaine again after six months. and don't even get started on matt. he was a whole wreck.

elaine came through the double doors of the dirty airport, her face scrunched up with disgust after she had the great experience of getting the smell of fresh piss into her nostrils. her hand had a tighter grip on her suitcase as she hurried through the people to get away from that small and to get to her friends, obviously. it was when she saw them all by the familiar mini van that her face changed from disgust to the happiest joy she's ever wore.
