"so, what do you think?"

"i like that idea."

"that's a bad idea."

cinzia furrows her eyebrows as she sends a glance over at vera, who had a frown on her face while she looked at elaine.

"what do you mean 'it's a bad idea'?" cinzia says as she glances at elaine, who seemed to be rather sad at vera's answer.

"it's like i said, a bad idea." vera answers with a sigh, "i don't think you should shut matt out like that."

"why shouldn't she?" cinzia fires back, suddenly feeling a little bit anger inside of her for the way vera tries to defend matt after everything he did.

vera only opens up her mouth to say something but decides against it and closes it back, only grumbling under her breath.

"say it." cinzia urges on after seeing vera's expression.

"it's nothing."

"no, say it."

"guys." elaine says with her eyes widening in slight panic when she feels the tension going through the room. she's very aware that her two friends have opposite opinions but they didn't seem to accept each other's opinions.

"i wanna know, why are you defending matt?" cinzia asks, deciding to ignore elaine's attempt to calm the situation down.

"i'm not?" vera scoffs out while she sits up straight inside her seat to glare at her.

"then why are you saying it's a bad idea?"

"because it is! she shouldn't shove matt out of her life because of what happened between the two!" vera shouts back as she slowly got frustrated with the whole situation, which elaine took notice of.

"she isn't shoving him out of her life! oh my god, did you even listen?" cinzia shouts back with her face full of disbelief.

"of course i did!"

"clearly not!"

"guys!" elaine yells loudly, interrupting the two who send daggers at each others throats with their looks, "don't fight over this."

"i don't want to but vera is making it hard." cinzia says with a sassy eye roll to which vera's jaw drops in offense.

"you're telling me that you think it's a good idea that elaine is distancing herself from matt?" vera scoffs out with her body leaving the chair as she now turns to stand with anger.

"yes." cinzia simply shrugs with her head tilting towards vera's fuming face.

"you're insane." vera gasps out with her hands flying around herself as she couldn't control the absolute anger that was flooding through her.

"no, you are!" cinzia shouts right back, her body also leaving the chair that she sat on, "matt did so much shit to her! he made a fucking rumor about her that isn't even true, he kissed her and gave her hope only to break her heart the next day and be an asshole about it! and now she finally found someone that treats her right and she wants to be with him but feels the need to distance herself from matt, which i think is completely right. you're sitting here and telling me that it's a bad idea?"

the room was silent after cinzia's outburst. vera only looked at her, her eyes clearly showing that she was frustrated. her eyes went over to elaine, who stood there rather speechless as her gaze went between the two fighting girls.
