"NOOO!!" João screeched when the little girl scribbled on his coloring page.

"Mimmo. Mimmo, stop screaming" Jamie walked over to the kids table where he was screaming and crying.

"Relax, what's wrong?"

He jumped up and down pointing to his coloring page. He continued to cry, his face turning red as tears ran down his cheek.

"Stop it. Stop it. It's just a little mark, I'm sure mommy won't mind. Shhhh"

Jamie was trying to quiet João down before Amina heard but it was too late.

"What's the problem?"

"She messed up my coloring!" João threw his head back dramatically as he sobbed. Samira looked around confused, she didn't know what was going on.

"Look at me" Amina crouched in front of her son, gently grabbing his chin.

"There is no need to get on like that. How old are you?"

"Five"

"How old is she?"

"Two"

"She's only a baby, João. She doesn't know any better. She doesn't mean to destroy your coloring. I don't want to hear you screaming and crying like that again, it's not nice to behave that way."

"But it's ugly now" he cried.

He raised his arms for Amina to carry him and she shook her head making him throw himself on the floor. Amina raised her eyebrow at him. He's been acting out since Samira got here and she didn't know why as she's been spending more time with him and Jamie with Samira.

"One. . . Two"

"Nooo! Noooo!!!"

"João. I'm going to give you the count of three. One. . .Two. . . Three." Amina bent down. Picking him up from under his arms. He kicked her a few times, in the process of trying to avoid being picked up.

"Walk, stand up. You're too old for this." Amina's stern tone made him straighten up and walk to the stairs.

"You're going to sit here until you get your act together. You know better."

"Sorry mommy. Sorry" João got up following her back to her office.

She carried him back to the steps, sitting him on it.

"Don't get up. Mommy doesn't like your behavior João. You kicked me, bubba. That hurt mama" she pointed to her legs where he kicked her.

"No, I'm sorry. Sorry mommy" João kissed her legs trying to heal her boo boos.

"Thank you, baby. Mommy will come get you in three minutes, alright?"

"Yes"

"Stay right here, okay?"

"Okay" João began to cry seeing Amina walk away.

A minute and a half in, Jamie walked over to check on him.

"Bambino, it's okay"

"M'bad boy and give mommy boo boo" he began to cry. Jamie caved and picked his son up.

"You're not a bad boy, mimmo. You just had a moment. Mommy is okay. I'm sure you didn't mean to hurt her, right?"

"No. I don't wanna hurt mommy."

"I know. It's alright mimmo. Stop crying now, you're making me so sad."

"Can you sit with me daddy?" Jamie nodded sitting on the step with João.

Samira came over to the two holding a crayon out to João.

"It's okay sissy." João sighed.

"Come here, bub. Let me talk to you" Amina poked her head out of her office.

"Go"

"Can you some with me please daddy"

"No, daddy can stay there. You're not in trouble. Come" Amina smiled so he knew he wasn't in trouble. João skipped over to Amina.

"Can you color me a new picture so I can put it on my desk?"

"Yes!" He sat on the floor coloring another picture for Amina.

"Sissy, here. Color a little for mommy" he gave Samira a yellow crayon and she scribbled all over the sun.

"Mommy, we're finished"

"Can I see?" He beamed handing it to her.

"It's beautiful bubbas. Thank you"

"I mean. It's a bit messy. I need to teach you all to color in the lines. Look at mine. Do you like it babe?" Jamie Gave her a neatly colored picture.

"You're so competitive. It's not a competition, they're children, their motor skills are near non-existent."

"It's pretty daddy"

"Thank you, bambino."

I feel like I can't write about good children. It's hard and it's boring. Soo, I need some drama and at the moment it's João vs Samira. I'll try to include wholesome sibling moments too.
