So I ended up placing like fourteenth of two hundred at that tournament; not bad I'd say, a pretty good showing on my part. I mean, I'm not a BAD player per se, but I'm not a pro! I can't be expected to win tourneys; especially if they're visited by pros like her!

No kidding, I swear, SWEAR that she's GOTTA be a pro! I waited for the tourney to end to talk to her, but as soon as she lost in the finals, she left. I tried talking to her, but she left in a hurry; she was getting hounded by the guys, after all. I sighed.

"Yo, Red," I heard Todd call out to me. He won the tourney, as expected. "What's up? What happened?"

"I got clobbered by the Finalist, dude," I said, smiling like a dummy. "One Turn KO."

"Yeah, she was tough," said Todd. "She's one of my mutuals; we follow each other on Instagram."

"Wait, seriously?" I asked. "Is she a Yugituber, too?"

"She's a streamer," Todd said. "She mostly streams stuff like Minecraft and Call of Duty. We met about a year ago online when she caught one of my videos, then asked me to add her on Instagram, and so we started talking. Turns out she's into the game, too, and wanted to try her hand at going pro, like me."

"Nice," I said. She sounded cooler by the second.

"Plus she's got an Only Fans," Todd said, grinning. "Want the link?"

"HELL YEAH!" I said without thinking.

"Oh wow, that's too bad," Todd said, bursting out laughing. "I lied."

"Soooo, I'm not getting a link?" I asked.

"Can't give you the link to something that doesn't exist!" Todd kept on laughing out loud, like a butt wipe. He's a butt wipe.

"Damn..." I said. "I'll never see her again in person, will I?"

"Hey, if it's any consolation," Todd said. "She told me you were the best player she faced all tournament, besides me."

"That's a lie," I said, blushing.

"OK, yeah," he said with a chuckle. "But she did tell me you were the prettiest."

"Seriously?" I asked. "You swear you're not lying to me?"

"I swear," he said, crossing his heart. I just...blushed like crazy, because I can't fathom a girl like HER thinking an ugly uggo like ME would be pretty.

So me and Todd decided to grab a couple slices of pizza down by Pizza King, the best place to get the legit good pizza in town. I sure do love Pizza King; they make the best pizzas in the county because they use an actual wood stove, and that gives the pizzas a unique flavor.

"So how's things between you and Amy?" I asked, tapping my fingers on the table.

"Welp," he began, rubbing his chin. "We're moving in together this Saturday, so I'd say...pretty good. Thanks."

"Sweet," I said, grinning. "Hey, she's a keeper, dawg. Don't let her go."

"Nah, gurl," Todd said with a smile. "I know the top prize when I see it, and I've got it. I'm telling ya, I might end up putting a ring on it!"

Todd and Amy have been dating for three years now. I've met her; she's super nice and friendly. She's also this cool, super awesome Punk Rock chick who knows all about these crazy awesome bands that you've never heard of. Plus she plays  guitar in a band, and that's totally sweet. I don't care how old you are; when you play guitar in a band, you're automatically cool. Unless you suck, in which case you're a loser. But Amy's GREAT with the guitar! Plus she sings!
