It's been two days since Paige broke up with Jerkface by punching the LIFE out of him, in ONE punch! She's like a female Saitama, but with hair! Sooo goddamn COOL!!!

Speaking of Jerkface, turns out that video of him trying to punch me went viral. Sixty thousand views in under twenty four hours, and then it caught the attention of the Manosphere, who wasted no time commenting on the video, which led to more views, which led to more attention... yeah, he's finished. His career as an online feminist show host is all but over, as practically EVERYONE he associated with has called him out on his bull! It was awesome!

Anyway, today is Gym day. Amy and I were making our way to the gym, when she started talking.

"So Todd's pretty mad at Paige's ex boyfriend," she said. "And he's told me he'll beat him up if he ever sees him."

"That doesn't sound like Todd at all," I said, shocked. "The Todd I grew up knowing is a total sweetheart who'd never hurt a fly!"

"Yeah, well, even he has his limits," Amy said, shrugging. "I told him not to even think like that, though; that Paul Jones acts tough, but he's the kind of guy who'd love to file a lawsuit for assault."

"Yeah," I said, sighing. "He really tried to punch me..."

"He's a jerk," she said, her eyes narrowing, her voice in a growl. "But we won't be seeing him around anymore; I'm hearing talk he got dropped by ALL his sponsors."

"Good," I said. "Hey, change of topic; I'm sorry I didn't stick around after the end of your concert, I-"

"Are you kidding me?" She said, smiling. "Kevin filled us in on EVERYTHING! You did the right thing in taking her home!"

"I know," I said. "Damn...I'm just glad life can go back to normal."

We entered the gym and immediately got greeted by Mike, the buff guy who works the cashier at the front desk.

"Yooo, Red!" He said; he's taken to calling me Red. "I saw that video you were in!"

"Oh, gosh," I said, blushing, as he walked up to me and gave me a high five. "This is embarrassing."

"Not one for the fame, eh?" He said, chuckling. "With your looks, I'd figure you could be a model or something!"

Oh, oh wow. Why do I feel bashful all of a sudden?

"You must really like Paige, huh?" He said, nodding his head. "I don't blame ya; she's one special gal."

"She really is," I said without thinking. Then I shook my head. "We're friends, though."

"I see," he said, nodding. "So, what does Sam think of all this?"

"Huh?"

"Oh, nothing," Mike said, shrugging. "But if I know Sam, she wouldn't stand in the way."

"In the way of what?" I asked, looking over to Amy, who tried averting my gaze.

"Sam and Paige are two peas in a pod," Mike said. "I was quite shocked to hear they were just friends, though; coulda sworn they were way more than that!"

"Why?" I asked.

"Never mind," Mike said, chuckling.

So after that we did our sets: treadmill, weights, and some push-ups. Today, though, I pushed myself; I did a whole HOUR on the treadmill, I used the five pound weights, AND I managed to do a whole pull-up! That's a record for me!

After that workout, Amy and I decided to head back home. On the drive back, I had a sinking feeling...

"I didn't see Sam today," I said. "Hope she's OK."

"When did you last see her?" Asked Amy.

"In person?" I asked. "The morning after we made love. But I last heard from her last night, telling me Paige was upset about something personal."

There was a moment of silence between us. Then Amy said "you two had sex?"

"Yeah," I said.

"In the apartment she shares with Paige?" Amy asked. "She didn't hear you, did she?"

"Uh, the whole apartment building heard us," I bashfully replied.

"I see..." Amy said, doing that thing with her lips when someone is in deep thought or something.

So Amy dropped me off at home. Eleven AM on a Tuesday, and nothing to do the rest of the day. Huh. I could code...

I went downstairs to my room, checked my email to see if anyone needed something for me to code. No job offers, nothing. I checked my gaming email, and also nothing. I sighed; this is my life.

No real job, living with my parents, no...

No.

Stop.

I don't want to go there anymore. I don't want this pity party for myself. I'm so SICK of feeling sorry for myself, you know? I mean yeah, I'm not where I want to be, and I honestly have no idea what that even is. Where DO I want to be? I don't know! Does ANYONE know!?

I looked over to my trunk where I kept Kevin's Mac. I picked it up, caressing it.

"How come this isn't your job?" I remembered Kevin asking me that when I made him that crummy PC.

"I don't know," I said to nobody. "I never really considered this as a job."

"I bet you'd be happy doing it," Sarah's words echoed in my mind.

"You really think so, Mom?" I asked no one. Wait, why did I call her "Mom" again?

"This could be a career for you," Dad's voice echoed in my head.

"Maybe," I said.

I caressed the old Mac. I sighed and opened it up again. I never did fix it properly, after all. I picked it apart, piece by piece, until I found it: the fried cable. A tiny, piece of crud cable that the Genius Bar would probably have charged my little bro hundreds of bucks to fix. I cut out the cable and replaced it. Then I reassembled the Mac, charged the battery, and turned it on.

The Mac worked. I smiled to myself, thinking about how I was gonna surprise Kevin this weekend. I couldn't stop smiling; I did something productive today!

I wonder...

"This could be a career for you," Dad's voice echoed in my head.

"Yeah," I said, smiling. "I could start my own business doing PC and laptop repair."

"I bet you'd be happy doing that," Sarah's voice echoed in my head.

"Yeah," I said, fully grinning now. "Yeah, I can do that! I...I think I'll do that!"

I'm going to start my own business! I can do this!

I walked over to my PC; I gotta do some research on how to get a business started! That's when I noticed someone trying to start a chat with me on my messenger. It was Sam.

"Can we video chat?" She asked.
