Toy stores are a great place to pick up chicks

I woke up at one in the afternoon. I turned on my computer to check my email; someone wants me to make them a website. I notice the dude offered fifty bucks, so I emailed him saying "minimum fee is three hundred for a basic website." Like boy, I don't work for free.

Fifty bucks to set up a website? Dude, for the time I'd be putting into that I may as well be working at McDonald's as a burger flipper. I didn't go to college and earn a flipping degree in Computer Sciences just to get offered McDonald's wages for Computer Science baloney! You pay me Computer Science wages for Computer Science baloney!!!

Anyway, it was two in the afternoon and I noticed I technically hadn't showered since...yesterday morning? Shoot, time flies. I smelled my armpits; they reeked! Ew, no wonder I never get laid. Well, that, and the dating scene around here is craptacular, and I don't have a car, and nobody ever asks me out.

But damn, those pictures of Paige, they did it for me. I normally don't go for girls who give me Hetero Vibes, but Paige...she was something else. But it's best I forget her, I think; even if she wasn't Hetero, it's not like I'd have a shot. I mean, she's like a one hundred out of ten, and I'm a seven on a good day! And that's NEVER!

I wrapped myself in my towel and headed upstairs towards the shower. I opened my door veeeery carefully, because for some reason Dad HATES it when I get up past ten AM. In fact, he doesn't like me getting up at 10:00 AM either. Anyway, I noticed the coast was clear, so I tippy toed all the way to the shower. I turned on the water...

Ahhh, refreshing! I oughta shower more often!

So I headed back to my room, put on some panties and a shirt so I won't be naked, and noticed my phone started ringing. I picked it up.

"Nyaaaa, Daisy-chan!" I heard Jolie call me. She's got my number for when she wants to watch Anime with her friends. "Atashi need a favor from her favorite tomodachi!"

"OK, what's up?" I asked. Tomodachi means "friend" in Japanese. It was kinda flattering to hear her call me her favorite friend, but inside I was all "dang, I'm her favorite friend? Poor girl needs to make better friends..."

"Well, atashi wants to go to this toy store down the county, nya?" She said to me. "But...but Joli-chan is scared to go alone, nya? So-"

"You know I can't drive," I interrupted.

"It's OK, nya!" She said. "Atashi will drive! But it's an nii hour drive! Is that OK?"

Nii means two in Japanese.

"Sure," I said. "Pick me up?"

"OK!" And with that she hung up the phone. I decided to put on my pants, socks, and shoes; it was a pain in the butt to get dressed, but hey, it's all for Jolie. Besides, I could totally score me some Star Wars stuff if I go with her; hope I can find something cool, like a sixteen inch talking Darth Vader.

About half an hour later, Jolie drove up to my house in her pink Toyota. It's a damn nice car, all things considered. I got in; she already had her favorite playlist of Anime intros on.

"Kicking it off with Butterfly, nice," I said, smiling. Jolie and I both loved Digimon Adventure, the first Digimon series. We strongly prefer the original Japanese version over the Fox Kids dub, though. Dubs are whack, anyway; subs' where it's at!

Anyway, we actually started singing along...

I'd share the lyrics with you, but it's in Japanese...and...yeah...

Well, after that song was done, we sang quite a few more. The Day, from Boku no Hero Academia, followed by Cha La Head Cha La from Dragon Ball Z, and then Just Communication from Gundam Wing. Awesome songs, all around. Honestly, the drive was a BLAST!
