CHAPTER 2: The changing point

It was 5 pm when Kirumi woke up, only to realize she hadn't eaten a single thing

'I blame you, annoying crow'

Kirumi walked out of her room with her usual blank expression, with the intention to go to the kitchen, eat something and then go to the headquarters, but a certain someone had different plans

"Oh, Kirumi! You woke up, I wanted to talk with you" Katzuki said, leaving her small talk with Giyuu and Iguro and going towards her younger sister

"What do you want?"

"I wanted to eat with you of course, I haven't seen you in ages and I was worried about what you sai-"

"Stop lying, I don't need your false pitiness and I'm not eating with you"

"Oh, but I've already been granted to eat dinner here" Katzuki said with a very high pitched voice, making Kirumi want to strangle her

"I'm not eating here then" Kirumi was about to leave, but Katzuki held her wrist making her stop

Kirumi knew that she could leave her grasp, but using all her strength meant hurting her and hurting her meant talking with everyone who loved her

"You don't want to be my enemy Teruko Kirumi" She whispered in her ear

"You're not my enemy... But I'm not your friend or sister" Kirumi decided to just take her hand from Katzuki and walk towards a town or somewhere else

"... That girl is crazy... anyway Giyuu- san and Iguro-san should we eat?" Giyuu only nodded while walking back into the estate before Katzuki and Iguro walked in

"So Giyuu-san, would you accompany me to my mission tomorrow?"

"I've received no orders from the Master"

"I know, but it will make everything easier"

"Deal with it yourself, you're a Hashira"

"Don't be so rude Tomioka" Iguro said while looking straightly at the boy

"Either way, I do wanna ask about your sister... You didn't seem to have a good relationship"

"Mmh... I don't know, this is the first time I see her in... 4 years or so, she seemed fine that time, now I'm just confused" Katzuki and Iguro kept talking about different thing while Giyuu just ate in silence

A few hours later

Kirumi went back to the estate after eating, buying a pair of clothes and going to the headquarters, but she didn't expect for Giyuu to be at the entrance

"Good evening" Kirumi greeted, attempting to go inside, but Giyuu stopped her before she could do so

"What happened?" Giyuu straightly asked

"I... ate?" Kirumi said, quite confused

"I mean... What happened during the past years?"

'I knew I shouldn't have come back'

"... You mean why I disappeared?" Kirumi said, before deciding to sit on the floor, expecting for the boy to do the same

Giyuu nodded while looking straight

"... My former crow had an accident... Well, more like I caused it... so I had no way to come back or give any report... But I kept my plans, I went to my house to see what things I wanted to take... but nothing went as I thought it would go, so after a night I left" Giyuu could see Kirumi's eyes darken, which was a weird sight, because, before, she was a bubbly person and now she literally showed no emotions on her face
