After dragging Krillin off the arena, the announcer speaks
Announcer: Onto match 2! Shin VS Demon Jr.!!
Y/N finds the group and sits next to them.
Goki: Was it really necessary to finish it that quickly?
Y/N: It would've been worse if I just embarrassed him. I did him a favor. Sorry for knocking out your husband 18.
18: It's fine, I guess.
Y/N: So, who's Piccolo fighting?
He looks at the stage and sees that it's the mohawk dude from earlier. Back to the announcer.
Announcer: This is Shin's first trip to the tournament. Demon Jr., on the other hand, fought an astounding match in the finals years ago. I remember it well! Um... please don't destroy the arena this time...
They both step onto the arena.
Y/N: Alright, place your bets. Who's winning?
Goki: This "Shin" guy is kind of interesting...
Vegita: We don't know what he can do. I can't place bets on someone that I know nothing about. We're about to find out now, though.
Piccolo begins thinking.
Piccolo: 'What a foe this is... I've never seen nor heard of him before! Who is this guy!?'
Shin: You'll find out! Let's just enjoy the game for now!
Piccolo gasps as his mind just got read.
Piccolo: Forgive me... but I must forfeit.
He begins walking off the arena.
Announcer: "Forfeit"...? You mean you're not going to fight?
Piccolo: Indeed.
Announcer: Uh... Demon Jr. has forfeited! Shin is the winner!
Piccolo walks back to the group.
Y/N: What the hell was that?
Goki: Was it that bad, Piccolo?
Piccolo: Yes... he's... a different order of being.
Y/N: You mean like a god? Are you saying I have to fight a god in the next round?
Back to the announcer.
Announcer: Moving right along!!! Match 3!! Videl VS Spopovich!!!
With the group.
Gohan: Wow! You're really popular! Good luck, Videl!
She walks out to the ring.
Y/N: Alright, Gohan. Let's see what your girlfriend can do.
Gohan: S-she's not my girlfriend!
Back to the fight.
Announcer: Welcome Videl, daughter of the famous Hercule, champion of justice, captor of criminals, and winner of the youth division at our last tournament!! Spopovich lost in the first round of that same tournament, but he's spent the past 7 years preparing for a rematch!!
As Shin walks past the 2 of them, he notices something off about Spopovich. The crew cheers for Videl and the announcer begins the fight.
Announcer: BEGIN THE MATCH!!!
Before we do that tho, we see why the group is up to. Shin walks in and Piccolo speaks up.
