A driver in a car
Can go very far
While a walker outside
Has to walk rather than ride

Let's see what a driver does best
Better than all the rest
He drives himself and/or some passengers along for a ride
And he's in control of the wheel
Which is a big deal
So he can't run or hide

He has the power to turn left or right
Which might be a bit of an internal fight
He also is in charge of speed
So, driving, he has to heed
He has to be watchful of everything around him that's outside the car
So, that he can not hurt others, and himself, and go very far

Let's see from a passengers point of view
What they think of the fellow driver: you
They're thinking 'keep your hands on the wheel
Cuz I'd rather get home safe than bad stuff feel'

They're wondering if you'd either turn left, right, or just go straight
Because going to their destination, they can't wait
They're also filled with trepidation
Hoping the driver doesn't speed too much cuz that's no fun
They're also filled with irritation at the other driver for causing there to be so much traffic
Wondering if maybe they're texting, or talking on the phone about some shtick

Of course, the fellow driver might feel some of this, too
That might also be true
But since I haven't driven a car yet, I can't say
Maybe one day...

Okay, let's go on to the pedestrian outside
He's busy texting or talking on the phone or taking a bike ride
He's hoping nothing happens to him today
Not knowing what's transpiring in anyone else's head, as they say

I might not be the most accurate
But I hope some of this description does fit
