Poetry In Emotion [Completed]

Snow globe

I'm rattled to and fro
So they can see the snow go around like a yo-yo
I want to stay put, in one place
But they want to see the snow fall at a fast pace

So, I'm shaken up and down
And they're smile doesn't turn into a frown
At least they're happy
I'm not feeling the best; I feel crappy
But they want to enjoy themselves at my expense
Let them, at least then I won't be tense
I'll be too busy being shaken
Their smiles cannot be mistaken
For something other than a smile
After all, a smile goes a mile

I see all around me
And all I want is for them to put me back on the shelf and just have a looksee
Not shake me around
Even though I don't make a sound
Inside I'm screaming, but they can't hear
All they do is smile and cheer
