A fire

There's a fire
Deep inside me
There's a fire
That no one can see

But I feel it
Day and night
I feel it
Even when it's slight

There's no water
To stop the fire
I don't know how
It's quite dire

Every day
It's burning bright
Every day
Never giving up the fight

But I want it to stop
Because it's easier without it
I want it to stop
So, it doesn't cause me a fit

How do I stop
A fire that's been burning for long?
