Poetry In Emotion [Completed]

I wish:

I wish I could wake up in the morning with a brightness no one can beat
I wish I could get a taste of that beautiful treat
I wish I could walk with my head held up high
And not give negativity a second glance as the day goes by

I wish that the world were a different, safer place
I wish that everyone had a smile on their face
I wish people close to me didn't have to go through so much
I wish I knew how many lives I did touch

I'm wishing on an invisible star
That's how I feel, but, even though, I hope the invisible star goes very far
And reaches the right destination where all wishes go
So that some of my wishes will come to fruition and I will grow

I wish that life were easier than it is now
But, what can I do except wait for something, somehow?
I know that wishing upon a star
CAN get you very far
Or is it that the wish itself goes far away
So that everything you wish will come to stay?
Either way, I wish upon a star
I hope these wishes will go very far
