I'm okay

Deep down, I'm lying
When I say I'm okay
Deep down, I'm crying
When I say I'm okay

Deep down, I feel not the greatest
Even when you ask what's the latest?
Deep down, I feel like garbage
I feel so much rage

Deep down, I feel mad
Deep down, I feel sad
Deep down, I feel frustration
Deep down, I don't really feel elation

Deep down, I feel negativity soaring through
Deep down, I don't feel what you do
Deep down, I feel worried too much
Deep down, my heart feels touched

Deep down, I don't feel the best
Deep down, I could never lay it to rest
Deep down, I feel a lot
Deep down, I feel down and in a soft spot

So, when asked how I feel
This is what I'll answer
So when asked how I feel
I'll answer I'm good and you?
But you'll know, deep down, that that isn't for sure
That that isn't true
