Dear Friend

You gave me a reason
A reason to live
A reason to go on
A reason to give

You gave me strength
Strength to fight
Strength in a big length
Strength to not give up with all my might

You gave me courage
Courage to stand tall
Courage to not feel small
Courage to not feel like I am in a cage

You gave me love
Love only a friend can give
Love anyone can't outlive
Love as beautiful as a dove

Now, I have to let you go
It bothers me so
But what can I do
At least you gave me something so true
I will never forget all you've given me
I will pass it on to someone else, hopefully
You've given me so much
My heart has forever been touched
Don't you forget
Our friendship has a meaning we don't know yet
It means something we can't say
Cuz we don't know it's meaning yet today
So, continue to give people a reason; continue to give people strength; continue to give people courage; continue to give people love
We all need what you gave me
So, continue to give without a glove
So, people can the helping hand see
