Do you ask yourself?

When you see
A fire burning
Do you ask yourself
Am I yearning?

Am I yearning
To be as free as a flame?
Am I yearning
To be not so tame?

When you see
A child laughing out loud
Do you ask yourself
Do I want to be like that amongst a crowd?

Do I want
To be as free?
Laughing as hard
As can be?

When you see
A bird flying through the air
Do you think to yourself
Can I be like that without a care?

Can I be as free
As this bird
Flying through
The air, wings, and chirps, heard?
