Poetry In Emotion [Completed]

Lemons:

Take a lemon and see
How life can connect to it
Although it may be sour, you can squeeze it out
And make some good lemonade out of it

It is round and a cutable surface
It might be easy to cut, but you can do it at your own pace
The sour can become sweet if you add sugar to it
Only do this when you see fit

Life can hand you a lemon and say
Do whatever you wish to it and/but enjoy your day
You can keep whatever it is in or "squeeze" it out
You can even shout out loud
Not in the street though
So....

We can be flexible like the peel of a lemon on the inside or be strong like it's surface on the outside
It's your choice; you can either be outgoing or hide
You can continue life with that sour face
Or decide that you need some sugar - a smile - on your face

Either way, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade, but when life gives you lemonade, drink up and enjoy
Boy oh boy oh boy
(Especially, now in this heat
Give yourself a lemonade, summery treat)
