Chatter in the head

"What will you do today?"
"Didn't you hear what I said?"
"You have to listen to everything I say!"
"Even when you want to go to bed"

The chatter in my head annoys me to no end
With it, I don't see a friend
It just goes on and on
Even when it's got the job done

It constantly talks
Even when I walk
Even when I want it to shut up, it just talks and talks relentlessly
It just never gives up on me
