The box

We all have boxes around ourselves
Be they big or small, they fill up with our worries, and thoughts, like books on shelves
We can be the ones to create the boxes around us
Or things around us can be the ones to create boxes that are filled with truss

There are all types of boxes, as we'll always soon learn
Some boxes, make us yearn
Yearn for a way out
There is always one, without a doubt
Just "draw" a door
And the outside of the box will be, again, yours

It's always hard knowing you're in a box and not knowing a way out
It's also hard NOT knowing you're in a box, to begin with, and not knowing a way out, even when you shout

Your shouts are pointless, when you're in a box alone
Banging on the box will only strengthen it's hold and you're on your own
Sorry, but that's the truth
It even hits our youth

But, there's always hope at the end of the tunnel
Like there's a little hole at the end of the funnel
The hope lies within you
And that's the honest to God truth
To "erase" a box that was created
Just simply rip it apart as if it's outdated
It'll be the hardest thing you've ever done
But, in the end, you'll be smiling, no longer "contained" in a box that doesn't sound fun
