"I'll uh- I'll be going then," Spider-man said. "I'll tell Mr Stark what happened."

"No," I simply said.

He blinked.

"What do you mean?"

I went over to him and grabbed his wrist.

"You can't go back and tell people what happened," I told him.

"Why?" Spiderman.

"If HYDRA want to kill you, which they probably do, you might be safer with the Avengers, but their... sometimes mindless approach to this could make the world a lot more vulnerable."

Spiderman didn't speak.

"I've got a place not far from here where you can stay, now come on, quickly, before we're spotted," I murmured to him, pulling him out of the alleyway.

I could tell he was struggling to keep up, so I slowed down slightly. I was walking quite quickly in fairness.

"W-what's your name?" Spiderman asked me.

"Y/n," I stated. "How about you?"

"Uhm, well, I'm Spiderman," he replied.

I rolled my eyes.

"If you're stuck with me for however long, I can't be calling you Spidey-boy the whole time can I?"

"Oh, yeah, right. Peter. Peter Parker."

"Right then Peter, I'll tell you what's going to happen," I said, weaving through the crowds.

Peter

I was still struggling to keep up with y/n as she weaved through everyone. She seemed so hostile, and I hated it. I hated her.

"I need to find that pink glowing rock before HYDRA do anything with it. I have a week, maximum. When I get the rock back, you can go. But it's not safe for you whilst HYDRA have the rock," y/n explained. "And I don't trust you not to tell your little Avenger friends."

Okay, now I really can't stand her. The Avengers could take down HYDRA easily, and what was this pink rock?

"What does this rock do?" I asked as we headed down a less busy road.

"It contains the power which all Hybrids have. HYDRA are going to create something worse, and if someone goes in all guns blazing, it's not going to end well," y/n replied, stopping at a tall building.

She went around the back, then looked at me.

"Why are we here?" I asked.

"Do you have any other clothes to wear? We'll draw attention if you go in like that."

I sighed.

"No."

"Right, stay here."

She leapt on top of some bins, then began to quickly scale up a pipe. I watched as she effortlessly did this. It was almost like she was trained like Black Widow to do this. She stopped at a window. She pulled it open and disappeared inside. I waited awkwardly for a few minutes, until she leaned out the window.

"Peter!" she called down.

I looked up. She threw a backpack down and I caught it.

"Put these on, then go to room 46!" she called. "I'll let you in!"

Y/n retreated and closed the window. Great. As I quickly got changed, I gritted my teeth. She wasn't even much older than me. She must only be around 16 or something like me? As I wondered why she was so harsh, I began to think about what she must've been through as a Hybrid. If what the world said about Hybrids was really true, why hadn't she killed me already? Unless she was going to... No, no-body would be stupid enough to kill someone in an apartment. Y/n didn't seem like she was going to kill me. She seemed focused on retrieving this rock. I went around to the front of the building, then ran up the stairs to room 46. I put my fist up to the door to knock, but before I could, the door opened and I was pulled into the room. The door slammed, and I saw y/n locking it. There were 3 latches on the door.

"That's- uh... a lot of locks," I said.

"Ни хрена," she replied.

I blinked with confusion, then asked, "What does that mean?"

Y/n rolled her eyes, then replied, "It was a sarcastic remark."

She went over to a desk, and only then did I get the chance to look around the apartment. It was pretty bare. The curtains were pulled across, the light turned on. I looked at the clock on the wall. 6pm. There was a small kitchen area at the other side of the room, along with two doors opposite each other.

"Um... y/n?" I asked.

"What is it?" she snapped, not looking up from whatever she was looking at on her desk.

"Where's the bathroom?"

"The door with the sign saying 'bathroom' on it."

"Right, thanks," I thanked her.

Before I went to the bathroom, I placed her backpack I was carrying next to her desk. Y/n didn't acknowledge me, so I walked off and found the bathroom.

Y/n

This guy annoyed me. He'd better not complain about having to stay here. If he hadn't webbed me in the first place, the HYDRA agent wouldn't have gotten away. I looked through the papers on the desk, then looked up at the map on the wall. Where would the closest HYDRA base be? I was so engrossed in what I was doing that I didn't see Peter stood beside me.

"What are you doing?" he asked.

"Finding the HYDRA guy," I replied curtly.

"Sorry... about that," Peter apologised.

"Well, it's done now," I sighed resignedly, giving up.

"Quick question, are you going to kill me?"

I scoffed.

"I would've done it by now if I was. Hybrids don't mess around with mercy," I laughed. "So no. The only people we're after is HYDRA."

"We're?"

"Us Hybrids."

"Oh..."

I couldn't help feel a twinge of guilt when he slunk off to sit in a chair. I turned to him, saying hesitantly, "I was 12. When HYDRA kidnapped some of us."

"12...?"

"Yeah. HYDRA used us. My father was the Alpha of the Wolfpack. He died not long before, leaving the crown to me. Obviously I was too young, so Beta took over. When I was taken, I made a promise to myself. Make the world safe for Hybrids to live in."

Peter sat in silence. I didn't know whether to regret what I said, so I stood up, grabbed my coat and bag, before saying, "I'm going to buy groceries."

"Should I come with you?" Peter asked.

"No, stay here. Oh, and don't contact the Avengers and tell them you're here please. For both of our's sakes," I replied.

"I-I won't."

Walking out, I said, "I'll be back in half an hour. Lock the door, and I'll call through the door when I'm back."

A/n

I didn't translate the Russian bc I used google translate. It was supposed to say 'no sh!t', but obviously Peter didn't know that, so I didn't bother translating.
