~~~ A year later ~~~
Y/n
Not much had changed in the past year. I still led the Hybrids and was an Avenger. Ben's 7th birthday had just passed and Kat's 17th had also just passed. I was currently 17 too and so was Peter. It was now winter and snow was falling thickly on the ground outside the Avengers facility.
"Y/n!" I heard my name being called as I walked down the corridor.
I turned around and saw Natasha.
"You busy?" she asked.
"I mean, if going to see how Peter is counts as busy, then yeah."
Natasha sent me a mock glare.
"Hey, come on, he is technically my husband or whatever," I replied, going over to her.
"Yeah, well, are you busy?"
I shook my head.
"Do you want to train with me?" Nat asked. "Steve's busy and Clint is too familiar with my fighting style. I want someone harder to beat."
I scoffed.
"You think I'm beatable?"
"I did say harder to beat," Nat replied with a smirk.
"Still, I could tear you apart if I wanted to."
The red-head cast me a mocking glance.
"Try it Hybrid and you'll end up with a gun to your head again," Natasha warned jokingly.
"Mhm, I know you would totally do that," I replied sarcastically.
"Yep, I would."
Chuckling, I said, "Alright then, let's train. I'll get my gear."
I entered the training room, watching as Natasha beat up a punching bag with precision and accuracy. I leant against the doorframe and unsheathed my claws, before putting the claw covers on.
"Ready yet?" Natasha asked, looking over at me.
I nodded and went over to the fighting ring, standing in it. Nat took her boxing gloves off and got in the ring with me.
"When are we beaten?" I asked.
"Whenever one of us is unable to fight back," Nat replied, turning off her batons and putting them in her back carrier thing. "You use your claws like when you normally train and I'll use my batons and Widow Bites as if I was actually using them."
"But I won't actually get electrically shocked?" I asked with a chuckle.
"No, don't worry," Natasha replied.
Me and Nat stood at opposite sides of the ring, watching each other carefully.
"Start when you're ready," Natasha offered.
I gritted my teeth. I hated attacking first, it gave the enemy the upper hand immediately if I wasn't used to their fighting style - which I wasn't used to Nat's fighting style. Lies, I barely even knew how she fought.
