"Y/n, Kat!" Steve hissed at us.

"Ready?" I asked Kat.

She nodded and I took the phone from Steve. We ran through the snow-covered shrubbery towards the base, shivering slightly. A singular snowflake fell onto my nose and I wiped it off. You've got to be kidding! I groaned as snow began to fall. This was not what we needed. As we neared the exit, I saw Natasha gesturing us to hurry up. I ran quicker through the snow, Kat just behind me. When we got there, Natasha and Sam were there with a couple of young HYDRA experiments. There was one girl and one boy. The girl was badly injured, the boy supporting her. They must've only been slightly older than me and Kat.

"I'm assuming they can't help us right now?" Kat asked.

"Nope," Sam replied.

Turning to the two, he asked, "Can you make it over there?" he pointed to the shrubbery where it was seemingly empty.

Us four however knew that there were Avengers hidden. The boy nodded.

"You'll get help, trust the Avengers that are there. Say Sam sent you," Sam told them.

We watched as the boy carried the girl the best he could to run through the now heavily falling snow. Natasha turned to me and Kat.

"You two know the plan?" she asked.

Both me and Kat nodded.

"Sam, come on, let's get out of here," Natasha told him as me and Kat transformed into our wolf form.

I shook myself as white snow landed on my black fur. Kat's grey fur was sleek and flowed smoothly. I watched Natasha and Sam leave, then nodded at Kat.

"Let's do this," I said.

"For the Hybrids."

We touched our noses to each others, then ran into the facility, making as much of a racket as we could. Scraping claws across floors and walls, snarling and howling, knocking things over, generally making a racket.

"Hybrids!" one of the agents yelled in a thick Russian accent.

I stood in the middle of the corridor, head down and sharp canines bared, eyes glowing menacingly. I watched as many soldiers ran towards me. Some of them were aiming guns. I waited until the last second, before running back towards the exit. I had to use my night vision as I ran down some of the cold corridors as the light was dim. I weaved my way through the facility, hoping I was going the right way. My heart was beating and adrenaline rushed through my veins. I felt alive. Really alive. The most alive I'd felt for a long time. I raced down the corridors, paws thundering on the ground with every stride. I dodged bullets and whatever else they were shooting from their guns with precision. Eventually, I met Kat. She was leading an uncountable amount of agents too.

"Kill them both!" I heard one of the soldiers yell as guns were shot frantically.

The gunshots cracked through the air, making me remember everything from when I was last in HYDRA. The reason to carry on Y/n. For all those who died in the hands of HYDRA. I felt myself speed up a tiny bit, so I was just in front of Kat. We were nearing the exit. Gunshots. Yells. Words in Russian I didn't understand. Light seeped through the open entrance. An agent tried to shut the door, but I leapt on him, digging claws into his shoulder. Kat ran through the door, me just behind. As we led the agents and soldiers into the open, they seemed to realise it was a trap.

"Get back inside! Trap! Trap!" one of them yelled.

Too late. All the waiting Avengers had jumped out of their hiding spots and the clearing exploded into a furious battle. Guns, knives, shields and god knows what else were thrown about. Me and Kat tried to stay away from it, but we ended up being ambushed by a few soldiers.

"Kat!" I howled as a bullet scraped her side.

I launched myself onto the soldier, pinning him down. I disarmed him, throwing his gun away, before I sunk claws into his throat. I saw Kat fighting two other soldiers viciously. Blood stained the crisp, white snow. Once the soldier I was fighting fell limp, I dragged one of the others away from Kat. He swung a gun at me and it hit my side, sending my flying into a drift of snow. Scrambling to my paws, he approached me threateningly. He aimed his gun, but just as he placed his finger on the trigger, he dropped to the floor. I looked up, confused. Steve was stood, waiting to catch his shield. When he caught it, he put it on his back. The last soldier was laid on the floor - unmoving.

"You both alright?" Steve asked as him and Kat came over.

"Yeah," Kat replied, glancing at the blood that was trickling out of her minor wound.

"Of course," I said also.

Things are going to plan! We could just do this! I followed Steve inside the facility, Kat beside me. We came across Clint pretty quickly. He was fighting agents, loading and firing his bow quicker than I'd ever seen. We made quick work of the agents he was fighting.

"Everything seems to be going well, everyone's fighting the soldiers outside and-" Steve began.

Clint was shaking his head urgently.

"They're letting it loose," he said, barely getting the words out.

"What?" I gasped.

If I was in my human form, I knew I would've gone as pale as the snow before blood stained it. You were wrong. Things aren't going to plan.
